Get off the maintenance shit as soon as possible you don't want to be like me eighteen years plus on methadone, I need to take it before I can go to work in the morning then the whole day is filled with who can I score off of after work.
My middle child is named Derrek too.😀(got 3 sons). And nothing good comes out of FLA except my spring break vacations as a kid getting out of Massachusetts for the week. But to LIVE there? Nope. No, hell nah. Idk if you've seen the movie "This is 40"... Well the daughter in the movie is totally obsessed with Lost as well, and can't stop watching it. Like you were, sorta kinda💀
I have lived in 10 different states running from my addiction. I use to think those who stayed in the same town and state was dumb for staying put so long? Now I’m mid 30s and have no social circle at all and have to live pretty much in seclusion. I mean thank god I have my family who still loves me but that’s it
The best feeling I have being sober is not having to deal with shady people that you would never deal with if you didn’t need what they were selling, no more shady people and wasting money. I have totally overhauled my shop inside and out, and I can afford to take a week off if I need it from bidding jobs, because my money goes a lot further when you’re not choosing pills over food. What’s funny is I started taking pills to give me more energy, but I would be lost in my head and feeling like a failure for using and get nothing done after work, and sure I would kick ass at work, but nothing got done at home or the shop. Now I have the energy of life with a new start, and a big help was your videos Derek, and we share those boyish good looks, which I wasted a good part of, but not anymore thanks to you and NF, life has meaning again and hope is not lost, God Bless you all, big hug to all you struggling, beat those demons and hold onto the greatest gift from God, Life. You deserve the very best life, God Speed your recovery, make it this time for hell or high water. If you can’t take the pain, check into the hospital and get an IV for two or three days, your kidney test will probably warrant your stay, pay that hospital bill with all that money you’ll be saving not being an addict.
Hey Derek. Could you make a video about asking for help after addiction? I'm pretty sure after all the terrible things us addicts have done asking for help was hard even when extremely needed. I tried to type necasary.. nesicarry... I'm a terrible speller lol Google doesn't even know what I'm trying to say.
@@justintime2102 I know this message is old but maybe this person you speak of is still struggling or maybe someone else. Anyhow I highly recommend AA or NA or any of those and there they will be encouraged to get a Sponsor. A sponsor is someone who has significant amount of clean time and has worked the 12 steps. The purpose of this is having someone you can unload all of your deepest darkest secrets that keep you sick/still using, and all the horrible shit addicts do while in their addiction. A sponsor walks us through all of that trauma and the 12 steps teach us and allow us to let go of it all and how to make amends go those we hurt along the way. Eventually the 12 steps become a way of life.

LMAO this is what happens when you move while you're still hooked. You'll find anything. Alcohol and tramadol will ruin your life quicker than just using. I've had some very bad experiences with those two while on vacation lol

Tramadol is one hell of a drug, for some people it is very addictive. I have had one seizure with 1100mg of tramadol and 800mg of pregabalin.

Tramadol mixed with certain drugs such as antidepressants etc can cause Serotonin Syndrome.
So in America the jails don't give you methadone like they do in England. Man that must be hell to go to jail.
