Just not everyone's taste nor does everyone care to keep up with celebs. I personally could not care less, but good on anyone who enjoys what she does. I just think that people hyped up on screen are regular folks that do not affect me, so I do not care.
As a librarian/ library director, I appreciate the shout out to libraries! I’ve inter library loaned amigurumi books from other libraries for myself and my library has purchased crochet books that you have recommended that my patrons truly appreciate. Not everyone is Pinterest savvy.
Shout out to Hoopla if your library provides access. A few of the books in this video are available up there and soooo many more. I’m a big fan of not having to wait in line for their ebooks because every time one of the libraries I’m a member of buys a knitting or crochet pattern book for their digital collection, the waitlists are insane. I love that everyone is using their library for craft books though!
WOW! Elise, I love all your videos; however, I think this might be my favorite! As an Art Educator for many years books resonate with the deepest fibers of my being! Then, while taking care of my mother, I became the book and yarn buyer for 140 A.C. Moore Arts and Crafts stores! My office was filled with books and yarn from all over the world!!! I was living in the cocoon of creativity and inspiration! Now, as the Outreach Manager for Premier Yarns, I smiled when I saw your Premier Cotton Sprout in this video! I sincerely want to thank you for featuring such wonderful books in this video! You are such an amazing person! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!
Awww! Thank you so much, Michele!! You had a dream job at AC Moore buying all those books and yarn!! I love being surrounded by all the creativity too!! 🧶🧶🧶
I LOVE Dolly Parton, too! She is an amazing woman with an awesome story. Her creativity is off the charts with being able to write a song in an afternoon. I also love books and have two shelves full of them. If ever the internet no longer exists I'm all good!
A further shout out for libraries…. 5yrs ago I started a craft club at my local library. It’s been a great success, we’ve all made new friends and learnt many new skills. It’s been fabulous and can I urge anyone thinking of starting a craft club to go ahead and do so, you won’t regret it. An amazing added bonus is that I have ended up changing jobs and working in the library sector… and I’m loving it 🧶🧶📚📚📚
I so want to be able to do amigurumi, I have got to get an easy book and just try. I have done some mosaic knitting, but that blanket looks amazing. Since you like lobsters, have you seen the RUclips videos about Leon the lobster. A man bought a lobster and instead of eating him, he took the clips off his claws and set up a tank for him. It is wonderful to see him heal ,and then grow and molt.
The last bit of your video inspired me to start cleaning up and organizing my closet. I gave up after 30 minutes. It’s going to be at least 2-3 days worth of work and I have to work this afternoon, church tomorrow, dr.’s appointment Monday, work Tuesday... Seriously, though, I have 13 large vacuum bags full of yarn, 15-16 totes of fabric and all kinds of other craft things stuffed into whatever space is available. I’m very slowly whittling down my yarn stash by crocheting beanies for the VA hospital and the homeless in my area. It’s just gonna take time, but it’s time I enjoy!
Hot Flash Suggestion! My hot flashes started around 2017, it was the back of my head and down to my mid back, sometimes down my arms if it was a really bad one. I'm vegan so I knew that food may be a trigger. I started drinking green smoothies that I made and it seemed to help, but not enough. They were happening every 20 min or so. I live in Hawaii so it's hot and humid, I was miserable. Then I found Dr McDougall who is a proponent of no oil diet. Natural oils are fine but I cut out any cooking oils, even olive oil and now my hot flashes are non-existent. I will get flare ups when I eat oily potato chips or fries, but now I know to avoid them except for the once in a while craving. I hope that helps you! My grandmother taught me to crochet when I was 5 or 6 (I'm 59). She used to crochet doll clothes, thanks to your channel I'm starting to do dolls and clothes as well!
Oh The Hooktionary, is a book for me, I love mosaic crochet. Ooo I love Dolly too 🤍. No need to apologize for the hot flashes, I'm on that rollercoaster too 🎢🥵. The Golden Girls crochet book is EEEVERYTHING ❣❣❣, thank you for this fun video🧶🧶🧶

Hello ❤from NY!! I love Dolly Parton she was my favorite character on Sesame Street Polly Darton☺️. She is such a brilliant philanthropist and entertainer. Love your channel so much ❤
Hi Elise, I had to smile when I saw this video today, because I just got done doing the same job last week! I recently got a third book shelf in my little studio and I took all of my crochet and knitting books out and and organized them. I sent a few to aside to donate to our library. (We live in a very small rural town and they take all the donations they can get) I separated the crochet from the knitting then organized them according to project. All the afghan books together, then the lace books, the toys, socks, hats sweaters ect... Then another shelf for books that pertain to the crafting lifestyle in general. It felt so good to have everything at my fingertips again. I also have quite a nice collection of old Piece Work magazines, all the old Red Heart Crochet magazines from the 80's and 90's and as many Vogue Knitting, and Interweave Knitting as I could find. They have been very helpful to me and have inspired many projects. I also sorted them by year and month. Nothing inspires me like a good book. While I do look up patterns on the internet and love Ravelry and the like, books and printed patterns feel more natural to my creative process. Have a wonderful day ahead!
I love how many physical books of crochet you have collected! If ever the time comes that you wish to pass any along to someone early in her crochet journey and passionate to learn everything crochet related Please keep me in mind! I have never ceased my love affair with physical, tangible pages and patterns. I stubbornly refuse to go digital with my reading as much as I can help it because I am just so in love with the written page and so much more comfortable following a printed pattern. Call me a Luddite if you must but I am loyal to the printed page! 😁
I have to have the second Iconic Women book. I have so enjoyed my first one! Dolly Parton is the Iconic Country Star. What a fabulous person. (With a little adjustment in style and colors , that pattern could become Tina Turner!! Two of music's Iconic Women..❤
Your organization skills are admirable! Thanks for sharing hints for projects I can make for my grandkids! They are 9 & 6 and have wide range of interests that I can think well beyond hats, scarves, mittens to toys and favorite movie characters!
I don’t watch any TV so those books as reference is lost in me. However I do have the last two books the made easy and the aquatic book. Both are fun and the aquatic one is very colourful. I do want to make the fish and pirate with the parrot. Get sources for great ideas and time for crafting. Hugs💖
Yup , just as minute in and I already know…you get it. Books can never be replaced (neither can notetaking), my crochet book collection is starting off strong
I started my crocheting journey with partworks magazines. The art of crochet and Knit n stitch. They came with yarn to make squares for a blanket, hooks, knitting needles and accoutrements. I've made some of the squares but most of the yarn is in vacuum sealed bags, under my bed. I'll eventually finish them and put them together. They're handy to have if I need to reference a stitch or a pattern.
OH MY GOD ... I'M IN LOVE!!!! That Saguaro Sunset Afghan is going to be my DREAM knit. Good lord thanks so much for sharing this book. As soon as you showed that book, I ordered it and should receive it tomorrow lol. I'll for sure be documenting on my channel. Heck I may even plan a trip to see the Saguaro National Park in Arizona (I live in Canada lol). I'm so excited ... I can see many journal pages on this ;) I can't thank you enough!!! Hugs Sunshine
I have the Amigurumi Made Easy book and it is in the top three of my favorite crochet books. I made Peter the Mouse (adorable!) and plan on making all the cute critters in this wonderful book. The patterns and instructions are well written with great photographs. If you love making amigurumi, I recommend this book.
Girl, if you haven't been to Dollywood yet, please go! I grew up the next county over from where Dolly was raised in Sevierville, so I've been loads of times. You'll love it! If you've been, then you already know. 😉
I always feel left out when someone talks about the Office. I have never watched it or Friends. But I love the little people in the friends book they are so very cute. My son loves the Golden Girls. I know that he would love to have his own Golden Girls
The frog, snail, and octopus are so cool. I would make those for my sister. I call her those names. She is slimy and squishy to the point where I want to squish her like crazy.
Anybody heard of Crochet You! by Nathalie Amiel? She designed doll patterns with vitiligo, prosthetic limbs, hearing aid, etc. the book also has a lot of outfit patterns too so you can play dress up with the dolls. I thought it would make a wonderful gift for children. 💗
I have seen that one! As a mom with an adult disabled son I've been part of our local special needs community for years and it makes me so happy to see these amigurumi toys! ❤️
Hi Elise, I was just wondering. Are the chrochet books written in US terms or UK terms? I would love an anwser from you and if you could maybe include if it's US or UK terms in the next video of rewiewing books you make ( if you make one of course). I love your videos and you are a big inspiration to me. Thank you beforehand
Thank you for sharing these books I haven´t seen all of these when I have been crochetbook shopping but some of them I really need to try and find. It is interesting to see what I can and can not get hold on as well(in Sweden). Thank you for fun and inspiring and valuable videos! Take care and happy midsummer!
Elise, I do also like Dolly. Love her Jolene song. My ❤ most is Kenny Rogers. ❤❤ Islands in the Stream. Oh and those HOT FLASHES. They are horrid in he summer time Wet cold hand towel around the neck helps as a possible help?
I was just thinking last night I hope Elise has a new video about amigurimi books soon! Made my day! I love hearing your thoughts on these books and game the little friends of pica Pau books a try because of your recommendation and absolutely love them
I am totally saving up for those famous women amigurumi books. I quilt as well and I thought it would be so cute to make a little quilted backdrop for each of the ladies to stand in front of. Like Dolly Parton could be the Grand Ole Opry or Dollywood or maybe both. Judge Ruth Ginsberg could have a courthouse. You get the idea.
I crocheted a Pikachu and Pokémon Ball from a RUclips video ( i forgot the name of the channel sorry!) for my grandson last Christmas. He loved it. Then recently purchased the Pokeman book (must be the first because it looks different than yours!) and he's picked out 4 for me to do! My oldest son had been gifted a Star Wars kit that he "gave up on" and showed me this past winter while we were visiting. It held supplies for a Storm Trooper and Yoda. I made them while visiting. When we got home ( and after i did a few other things) i made a Darth Vader from the book (in the kit) and mt stash. It was a blast! I'm also doing a CAL with afghan squares but i'm pretty sure i'm addicted to dolls! Thanks for sharing the book reviews. ❤ (sorry for the long comment!)
This was so nice! I love reading and knitting, and I'm getting more and more in to crochet. Last week I picked up my first crochet book at a local yarn store. It's about amigurumi without seeming! And seeming is one of the things that keeps me away from amigurumi. I also would love to get my hands on the Friends book! Especially the Holiday Armadillo looked so nice when you flipped trough the book!
Thrift stores around Cumberland and Robeson Counties SUCK!!!! I'm going to attempt to check out the library Thursday or Friday. Dolly is freaking awesome!!!!!! My daughter doesn't crochet but she wants the Friends book.
@@EliseRoseCrochet I'm gonna go to the main library so hopefully they have something. If not going to see what Cumberland County has and if I can get a card for them too.
Namastey ❤, I am from India. I love watching your videos. You make and design such beautiful things, love them all. I love amigurumi dolls, wanted to know as a beginner which book should I take for amigurumi? Wanted to check how much I am interested in it.
If anybody can bring this country back together again it’s Dolly. The LGBTQ+ adore her. Bible Belters adore her. Christians and Atheists both love her. She’s a National Treasure. She is love in a curvy human form. ❤️❤️❤️
I love the Golden Girls! My friend got me the crochet kit last year as a birthday present. I’ve been wanting that aquatic amigurumi book, I would love to see you review it after you crochet some of the projects from it.
i have the made easy book and oh my goodness are the plushes SO CUTE. i don't think it's a new book, but I've been loving "timeless textured Baby crochet" by vita apala. I don't usually love crochet outfits but these are seriously cute. I'm making the little hoodie and it's a challenge at some parts (FPtrc? weird stitch to me) but so worth it
my stepmom got me this awesome zodiac amigurumi doll pattern book last christmas. i love it! an awesome feature is that each doll has different clothes, hair, and accessories, and that means i can mix and match to make my OWN dolls! i’ve made a few dolls for myself and friends so far, and am currently working on one for my dad :)
Saw the aquatic amigurumi book today while browsing at a bookstore today. Yes, the lion fish is stunning. Thanks for your reviews. I love the book kits. I purchased the Star Wars kit a while back, and the only downside was trying to find similar yarn to make the whole set. Yoda and a storm trooper were the only 2 I made. My Chewbacca attempt was a disaster.
@@EliseRoseCrochet his pattern wasn't too bad. I just couldn't find the correct wool or wool blend for the job. He had to be brushed/combed out for the finished look.
Wow! There are soooo many cool Amigurumi books 📚. I have quite a few and love that they are right there when I need them❤️ My little grandbabies use them as a catalog for Nana to make for them😂. I too am a huge fan of Dolly and love her Imaginarium library. What a woman ! Have a good week and thanks for keeping us up to date……, Karen from Greenleaf Idaho 🧶❤️
The wobbles brings back the time I was HUGELY pregnant with my daughter. My husband would walk behind me on our walks and sing Weebles Wobble but the don’t fall down!
Thank you. I love your book reviews because I am living rural, so I can't get to a bookstore to flip through before purchasing a book, I have to order online and cross my fingers. The same for magazines, so I'm wondering if you could rate the Amigurumi Crochet magazines for the quality of the patterns they provide? I'm so very hesitant to spend my limited crafting funds on a magazine only to find that the patterns are badly written, or the projects don't turn out as nice as the models because they've been staged or fixed before photographing - I've been caught out before with knitting magazines and sadly wasted my money. Thanks again
Hi Elise, Yet another amazing video! These books are definitely ones to keep my eyes on. I love the way you edit and film your videos as they are just so entertaining and fun. A couple of designers that I like (on Etsy) are LittleBrambleCrochet, who do the cutest mice 🐭 and CAROcreated whos doll patterns are just gorgeous. Happy stitiching.
What a library! Fun stuff. I don’t know what happened but when you started organizing your books and that music started I put down my laundry and started dancing my best version of a retro dance. 😂 So thank you for that!
Last weekend was Awesome Con, so I've gotta go back and watch your last video, but I love the idea of the amigurumi kits. I just wish they weren't that small! I've seen the Golden Girls one and thought about getting it, mostly because I love the idea of making that couch. Who knows? Maybe one day I'll dive into that pattern. When I've got less on my plate to make, lol. I love that you're a physical book fan, also. I don't begrudge anyone their Kindle, or reading by a download on their phone, or listening to audio books, and I do understand the convenience of something like that, but I just can't do it. I need my hardbounds, my paperbacks, the feel of the pages, to be reading it in the tone I get in my head, and that's not something that will ever change.
Hi elise, love your videos ❤ I've been following your youtube channel for a whiiiiile which mkes me happy when i watch your videos. I'm a crocheter and I want to learn how to knit/knit toys . And because i lovee your tutorials i want to watch at least couple of videos (tut) of yours so can you make a tutorial knitting a bunny or toy Ive visited your website but i couldnt buy patterns how can I buy?
Another fab video Elise, thank you! I absolutely love books and loved all of your suggestions, particularly the amigurumi ones, but oh my goodness, you are costing me a fortune!! 🤣😘
I have all of the amigurumi ones or they’re on my wishlist! Love your videos! But this is hilarious to me. Just today, mere hours ago, I made a video on my channel about the Friends book! What are the odds? Cool! The Woobles book is perfection!!! I am addicted to it. I made the stork as a baby gift. Dolly Parton is a queen! I feel you. Also I small word of caution, Allison Hoffman is amazing but whoever edits her kits at that company, are not crocheters you can tell. Those kits can be frustrating at times to understand.
I organised my books as you have when I got up today. It was great to see you arrange them in size order - I’m not alone in orderly collecting. Won’t stay that way for long!
I love your book reviews, Elyse! I am certainly going to buy Iconic Women 2 - I have the first one and I had no idea that there was a volume 2. There are so many truly amazing women featured once again. I have fallen in love with some of the characters in the Amigurumi Made Easy too. Just so cute! Thank you again for another great set of reviews!
Thanks, Elise! Like you I have always been a "book" girl so naturally I have quite a few amigurumi books, but am always on the look out for more. Half the fun is just looking through them. I just ordered the More Crochet Iconic Women which led me to Crochet Zodiac Dolls so I got that one, too. So Cute!
@@EliseRoseCrochet You need it! They have some really cute dolls. I plan to make one for my great-niece for Christmas. It is only $10 including shipping.
I am dyslexic and for me, navigating a text is way harder on a screen than on paper. For all the digital tools that are availerble to me, text to speech, highlighting, font optimization. Paper is just more relaxing to read.
@@EliseRoseCrochet by the way, what do you do when the their is a book you want, but you can only find it online at a webshop that you previously have had very bad experiences with when come to books (as in they arrrive damaged in shipping because they weren't packaged properly)?
Hi Elise, I saw you have bella cocos book. What do you think of it? I've followed her for years, but I wasn't sure about the book. Love to hear your thoughts. Thank you.
Lol! Elise, I have a BUNCH of books in my collection. The majority are crochet because I've been doing it longer but, my knitting book section is catching up. I've also got a bunch of counted cross stitch books too. Plus, I have pattern booklets, magazines and those small free pattern sheets you can find (or used to find) at the craft store. 🤦 I really should part with some but, I love revisiting books I've not looked through for awhile. 🩷✌️🧶
amazon recently had a big sale of buy two get one free with a lot of books, and i got three new crochet books. i wanted to get more, but i told myself ill check back in a few days and if the sale is still on ill get more! but it wasnt. but thats okay lol, sometimes i have to limit myself in ways like that because i can sometimes impulse buy. i now have five amigurumi crochet books so i have plenty of projects to make! if anyone is interested the five i have are: 1. Crochet Magical Creatures by Drew Hill 2. Mini Kingdom by Olka Novytska 3. Kawaii Crochet & 4. Kawaii Crochet Garden by Melissa Bradley 5. Knot Bad Amigurumi by Vincent Green-Hite (of Yarn Punk) so far i have only started two amigurumi from the first book but it has been sooo fun, one i just have to assemble and the other i am close to that stage as well. getting new books and flipping through them, it is really interesting to see how different artists/authors write out the patterns and show pictures and such. anyways, cant wait to watch this video ! XD yes i totally wrote this like one min into the vid (and paused it) cause i have no chill about crochet books LOL. SO EXCITING !!!!
@@EliseRoseCrochet yes i'm pretty sure i got mini kingdom cause you mentioned it in a video before? and i was like I NEED IT! i want to try the flower girl first but i want to buy the minikins yarn for it so i'm gonna have to wait a bit cause i just bought a bunch of other yarn 😅

That's awesome!!!! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video and that blanket it incredible!!! 🌵🌵🌵
Oh I saw your interview on the blog. Really great and informative interview. Great job Elise❤
Thank you so much! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for your nice review of Amigurumi Made Easy!
You're so welcome! It's such a wonderful book but the sweetest little characters! ❤️❤️❤️
Elise! Oh my goodness, those TV show amigurumi books are adorable and so fun! Thanks so much for such a fun collaboration!
❤
You are so welcome! ❤️❤️❤️
I love amigurumi! I need those amigurumi books. Dolly Parton is awesome!
She really is!! 🧶🧶🧶
Thank you for sharing!!! They are such cute designs!!! 🧶🧶🧶
Girl, if you haven't been to Dollywood yet, please go! I grew up the next county over from where Dolly was raised in Sevierville, so I've been loads of times. You'll love it! If you've been, then you already know. 😉
Yes! I've been but it was quite a while ago!! Dolly is such a wonderful person! I love that she hasn't forgotten her roots! ❤️❤️❤️
Hello Elise 👋. loved it thanks for sharing this with us
Glad you enjoyed it! 🧶🧶🧶
I have both of the iconic women books and I've made Dolly and many of the others
They are such great patterns!! 🧶🧶🧶
I always feel left out when someone talks about the Office. I have never watched it or Friends. But I love the little people in the friends book they are so very cute. My son loves the Golden Girls. I know that he would love to have his own Golden Girls
They are all great shows!! 📺🧶❤️
How have you not seen friends as soon as you see it you will be obsessed
Such a nice variety of books. I totally forgot about the library to look for inspiration. Thanks for sharing.
The frog, snail, and octopus are so cool. I would make those for my sister. I call her those names. She is slimy and squishy to the point where I want to squish her like crazy.
Haha! They really are cute patterns! 🧶🧶🧶
Oh my...I love books!!
Me too!! ❤️❤️❤️
When you were talking about how you love Dolly Parton, I spent the whole time sat here thinking: so you should! 😂
She's amazing!! ❤️
Love the chick and the duck.
So cute!! 💛
Thanks for the suggestion! 🧶🧶🧶
Yeah books!!!! I love your book choices and the books you recommended really helped me focus when I'm working on my project . No screens!!!❤❤
I'm so glad, Nancy!! 🧶🧶🧶
Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed it!! 🧶🧶🧶
I love your book review videos. You make it so much easier to decide what books appeal to me the most. Thank you!
I'm so glad!!! 📚📚📚
The Aquatic Amigurumi looks so fun! The lion fish is great! I definitely need to pick up a few of those. :)
I love that book!!! 🐟🐠🐡
You're so adorable!❤ I think so many suffer from hot flashes!😅 Thanks for all the reviews of these new books!😊
Haha!!! And they just hit me out of nowhere!! 🔥🔥🔥
@@EliseRoseCrochet Me too...their aweful!😂
Elise, I do also like Dolly. Love her Jolene song. My ❤ most is Kenny Rogers. ❤❤ Islands in the Stream.
Oh and those HOT FLASHES. They are horrid in he summer time
Wet cold hand towel around the neck helps as a possible help?
Thank you so much for the tip!! 🥶
I was just thinking last night I hope Elise has a new video about amigurimi books soon! Made my day! I love hearing your thoughts on these books and game the little friends of pica Pau books a try because of your recommendation and absolutely love them
That's wonderful! So glad it was good timing! 🧶🧶🧶
I love that idea!! How fun!!!! ❤
Omg, I also have the Golden Girls kit!
It's soooo cute!!! 🧶🧶🧶
Thanks for introducing me to all of these books…love the variety!
You are so welcome! 🧶🧶🧶🧶
Oh how fun!!! That's so sweet that you have so many people who want your handmade items!! 🧶🧶🧶
@@EliseRoseCrochet they get them whether they want them or not!!😜 They do seem to enjoy them!
Hopefully your library will have some of them!! The Friends book is so much fun!! 🧶🧶🧶
@@EliseRoseCrochet I'm gonna go to the main library so hopefully they have something. If not going to see what Cumberland County has and if I can get a card for them too.
I ordered three of the books from the library. I can't wait for them to come in!
Oh yay!! I'm so glad your library has them!! 🧶🧶🧶
Namastey ❤, I am from India. I love watching your videos. You make and design such beautiful things, love them all. I love amigurumi dolls, wanted to know as a beginner which book should I take for amigurumi? Wanted to check how much I am interested in it.
I would first do some free video tutorials here on RUclips first before investing in books! That way you can try it and see if you like it! ❤️❤️❤️
The dolly pattern was in my crochet now magazine this month. I'll definitely be making it.
It's such a fabulous pattern!! 🧶🧶🧶
my library even loans out a hook set if people wanna try it out
How wonderful! 🧶🧶🧶
If anybody can bring this country back together again it’s Dolly. The LGBTQ+ adore her. Bible Belters adore her. Christians and Atheists both love her. She’s a National Treasure. She is love in a curvy human form. ❤️❤️❤️
You're so right!! 🧶🧶🧶
I love crochet books also, I’ve a few knitting ones even though I don’t knit. Also need to rearrange them.
Great video n so much inspiration. Thx
Thank you! 😊
I love the Golden Girls! My friend got me the crochet kit last year as a birthday present. I’ve been wanting that aquatic amigurumi book, I would love to see you review it after you crochet some of the projects from it.
Thanks so much for sharing! 🧶🧶🧶
i have the made easy book and oh my goodness are the plushes SO CUTE. i don't think it's a new book, but I've been loving "timeless textured Baby crochet" by vita apala. I don't usually love crochet outfits but these are seriously cute. I'm making the little hoodie and it's a challenge at some parts (FPtrc? weird stitch to me) but so worth it
Thanks for sharing!! 🧶🧶🧶
my stepmom got me this awesome zodiac amigurumi doll pattern book last christmas. i love it! an awesome feature is that each doll has different clothes, hair, and accessories, and that means i can mix and match to make my OWN dolls! i’ve made a few dolls for myself and friends so far, and am currently working on one for my dad :)
I saw that book after I ordered all those books!! Looks like a great one! 🧶🧶🧶
It's such a great book!! And I bet Chewbacca was a difficult pattern!!! 🧶🧶🧶
Thank you so much, Karen! You're a real life Santa's elf for your grandkids!! Love it!! ❤️❤️❤️
@@EliseRoseCrochet 👍🏼🧶
The wobbles brings back the time I was HUGELY pregnant with my daughter. My husband would walk behind me on our walks and sing Weebles Wobble but the don’t fall down!
Lol!!! I remember those toys!! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for the suggestion! 🧶🧶🧶
I have the friends book and love it!!
Hi Elise,
Yet another amazing video!
Oooh! I will have to check them out!! 🧶🧶🧶
What a library! Fun stuff. I don’t know what happened but when you started organizing your books and that music started I put down my laundry and started dancing my best version of a retro dance. 😂 So thank you for that!
Haha!!! That music makes me want to move too!!!! 😂😂😂
That's wonderful!! I'm sure you're glad that your con went well!! I do love audiobooks but there's nothing cozier than a shelf full of books!!! 📚📚📚
Hi elise, love your videos ❤ I've been following your youtube channel for a whiiiiile which mkes me happy when i watch your videos. I'm a crocheter and I want to learn how to knit/knit toys . And because i lovee your tutorials i want to watch at least couple of videos (tut) of yours so can you make a tutorial knitting a bunny or toy
Ive visited your website but i couldnt buy patterns how can I buy?
Thank you so much!! You can find my Etsy shop here: www.etsy.com/shop/LePetitSaintCrochet ❤️
@@EliseRoseCrochet 🥰
Another fab video Elise, thank you! I absolutely love books and loved all of your suggestions, particularly the amigurumi ones, but oh my goodness, you are costing me a fortune!! 🤣😘
Lol!!! I've been accused of that before!! 😂😂😂
When someone FINALLY says amigurumi correctly 😍
❤️❤️❤️
I like the books because I get soooo tired of looking at my phone screen! I'm trying to get away from that more---- except for watching you. 😊
I feel the same way! Less screen time! 🧶🧶🧶
Thank you so much for sharing about that about the kits!!! 🧶🧶🧶
I organised my books as you have when I got up today. It was great to see you arrange them in size order - I’m not alone in orderly collecting. Won’t stay that way for long!
Yes, size order is important to me!! It drives me crazy to see taller books in front of shorter books! 😂
Great video! Thanks for the recommendations!!!!
You are so welcome! ❤️
Hi you are just amazing, I wish I could crochet like you ..all those wonderful toys you make 😊
It just takes practice!! You'll get there!!! 🧶🧶🧶🧶
I love your energy and passion about this subject, I'll be waiting eagerly for your videos 💖
Thank you so much!! 🧶🧶🧶
P.S. I totally need to sort out my books into some kind of order too! I had them soooo organised once and then the chaos fairy got to them! lol
I'm so glad you enjoyed it!!! 🧶🧶🧶
It happens so easily!!! 😂
So Cute!
Those are great books!! I don't have the Zodiac book!!! 🧶🧶🧶
@@EliseRoseCrochet You need it! They have some really cute dolls. I plan to make one for my great-niece for Christmas. It is only $10 including shipping.
Hi I have the friends crochet book but struggle with some stuff in it can you do a video on it
Craft room tour please....❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I've got some videos sharing my craft room!! 🧶🧶🧶
I so appreciate these book reviews! ❤😊
Glad you like them! 🧶🧶🧶
Hi! I live under a rock. This is my first time hearing of Woobles, lol.
Haha!!! That's ok!! Rocks are lovely!! The Woobles were on Shark Tank and have become very popular! 🧶🧶🧶
I am dyslexic and for me, navigating a text is way harder on a screen than on paper. For all the digital tools that are availerble to me, text to speech, highlighting, font optimization. Paper is just more relaxing to read.
Thank you for sharing what works best for you! 🧶🧶🧶
@@EliseRoseCrochet by the way, what do you do when the their is a book you want, but you can only find it online at a webshop that you previously have had very bad experiences with when come to books (as in they arrrive damaged in shipping because they weren't packaged properly)?
See amigurimi TOFT is very nice
Thanks for sharing! 🧶🧶🧶
I love pop culture themed crochet books. I am so tempted to get that Golden Girls one and crochet me a little Sofia. 😂
I know!!!!! So so cute!!! 🧶🧶🧶
Hi Elise, I saw you have bella cocos book. What do you think of it? I've followed her for years, but I wasn't sure about the book. Love to hear your thoughts. Thank you.
It's fantastic! I actually reviewed it in an earlier book haul video! 🧶🧶🧶
Thank you so much, i was researching this.
Glad it was helpful! 🧶🧶🧶
I really should part with some but, I love revisiting books I've not looked through for awhile.
🩷✌️🧶
That is awesome! 🧶🧶🧶
amazon recently had a big sale of buy two get one free with a lot of books, and i got three new crochet books. i wanted to get more, but i told myself ill check back in a few days and if the sale is still on ill get more! but it wasnt. but thats okay lol, sometimes i have to limit myself in ways like that because i can sometimes impulse buy. i now have five amigurumi crochet books so i have plenty of projects to make! if anyone is interested the five i have are:
1. Crochet Magical Creatures by Drew Hill
2. Mini Kingdom by Olka Novytska
3. Kawaii Crochet &
4. Kawaii Crochet Garden by Melissa Bradley
5. Knot Bad Amigurumi by Vincent Green-Hite (of Yarn Punk)
so far i have only started two amigurumi from the first book but it has been sooo fun, one i just have to assemble and the other i am close to that stage as well.
getting new books and flipping through them, it is really interesting to see how different artists/authors write out the patterns and show pictures and such. anyways, cant wait to watch this video ! XD yes i totally wrote this like one min into the vid (and paused it) cause i have no chill about crochet books LOL. SO EXCITING !!!!
Haha!! I totally get it the excitement!!! I have one of your new books and I need to check out the rest!! 🧶🧶🧶
Hello. I enjoyed the video. I've bought 3 of the books. Nice to see you like them too. 🐱🧶
They really are wonderful books! 📚
