someone give linda and christina their emmys like right now
Yes!!
Melissa Mae hell yeah😂
Right!
They’re actually being nominated because of this whole scene. 😊
Why ? Because they can say the f word umpteen times
Jens face when Judy breaks down and the way she whispers “Judy” breaks my heart!
They love each other so much and so deeply and that part ugh it hurt in the best way
Judy finds out Jen didn't kill Steve out of self-defense, and that Jen had been lying to her the whole time, and yet when she finds out what Steve had said to Jen she immediately goes into comfort mode. Gah! Such a good scene!
It really shows you Judy’s sweet nature.
This scene had me crying so hard. We finally get to see the real Jen and Judy and they're being vulnerable together, first time we see Jen being really vulnerable and showing how she really feels about herself and why she's so angry all the time; she's just always hurting so bad.
She wasn't trying to be mean to Judy she just thinks "you like anybody it doesn't mean anything."
Then we see that Judy self abuses herself, she takes her anger out on herself, Jen takes it out on the world.
I literally cried when I saw Judy cry like that 🥺🥺
Everyone always raves about Christina’s acting in this show and don’t get me wrong it is phenomenal but we need to be showing Linda more love
Seriously she’s absolutely pitch perfect in this show
I agree, they are both amazing actresses and have perfect chemistry. D2M is one of the best shows I’ve watched in a while. I hope it doesn’t get cancelled since Netflix has a tendency to end every show I like after a cliffhanger.
Winllifor I think it got renewed for season 3 and even if it hasn’t been yet it’s been in the top 10 most viewed shows for a few weeks now in the uk so it’s popular enough to get renewed
@@liamross340 And season 2 did end on kinda of a cliffhanger, so they do already have a plot for a third season
(Though SPOILERS I think they shouldn't have revealed that Jen was alive from the car crash, would've been better if they made us think she died until the third season)
@@2000fiona Everyone already knows Christina isn't going to leave the show, so why make that into a cliffhanger? It's unnecessary and cheap writing. The real intrigue is wanting to know what happens after that crash, the consequences of it. I'm glad the writers didn't play the lame "is she dead or alive?" game.
She’s an incredibly underrated actress. She was fantastic in “Mad Men” too.
I don’t know why but this scene really hit me, especially Judy. She’s done so much for others, she’s been through a lot, she’s never ever expressed how she feels and bottled up all her anger, sadness, and fears by putting on a mask to make her seem loving, peaceful, and caring. Then finally she broke and let it all out. I relate to that, there’s days where I just want to scream and let it all out. Linda’s acting *chef’s kiss*
her acting was amazing to me in this scene to be honest. maybe it’s just because i’ve had moments like this before. where sumthin pushed me so far i’d scream or yell sumthin like stop. and then get so upset/sad i start hitting myself the same way she did. i’m okay now lol i was just saying. certain circumstances have these reactions out of people. others might say this scene is too dramatic but to me it feels so real.
When Jen and ted had that argument the night he died and ted walked out on Jen she told him to go she didn’t go after him but when Judy walks out Jen runs after her and literally begging her to stay awwww that’s love 😍😍
they both deserve noms for this!! this scene especially in the middle of a binge was so real and heart wrenching and draining. it was exhausting. really beautiful and emotional
Very powerful upsetting part showed how drained both jen and judy are
This made me cry so hard, this is such good acting that it actually felt real. Their emotions damn what talented women. They deserve a lot of awards for this. And I love their friendship in this show, so so cute. I ship them so hard and I do hope they get together in the next seasons even though I also ship Judy with Michelle too but there is something about Judy and Jen, they would be PERFECT together 😍🌈
Same thoughts. Love this show so much hope will be lot of seasons. ❤️
Honestly this whole show felt so real that it affected me in a way I didn't expect it to. A whole week after finishing it and I'm still depressed af about seeing Judy cry like this.
Can’t believe I spent 36 years old alive not enjoying Linda Cardellini’s amazing acting! One of my favourite scenes ever!
I've always known her as Velma from Scooby Doo. And I first knew Christina is Brittany from the Squeakquel.
@@dannythomas417me too
Linda absolutely broke me when she was in the car… best acting I’ve seen for a very long time
This scene killed me. I’ve never felt something so hard from a tv show as I felt this.
This is the most intense scene that I’ve seen in the show. The way Judy screams near the end (and Jen comforting her) is heartbreaking. This show deserves an Emmy!!
Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini also deserve Emmys!!! 👩🏼🤝👩🏻👍🏻
The way this scene (and really the entire show) builds to Judy opening up with that scream...powerful.
Crazy how this scene parallels Season 1 when Judy confesses to hitting you Ted. It happens in the ninth episode as well with the same music...
Yes and they confessed because the other one started blaming themselves
And judy keeps wearing a tan jacket everytime
it's not crazy lmao it's called high quality writing! the people who make this show are brilliant
@@jesuschristthesecond and the best part is that, even if it's the same concept of "confess for blame", it still feels authentic and different than the one on the first season.
Never fails to make me cry😭. Linda and Christina deserve awards for this.
This was so well done. This show is amazing. I do think that the third season should be the last though. Complete the series on a high note and as a trilogy.
I'd hate to see it go, but 100%. I don't want it to run on and on and slowly self destruct.
They are and I think it's for the best
My God, I did not expect to start crying watching this.. both Christina and Linda deserve every possible award for this scene alone.
I started tearing up when Christina did and I broke down when Linda did. Phenomenal actresses who are a real power couple in this show
This scene tore me to pieces omg !!! I cried so hard .
It’s an amazing show
The acting from Christina and Linda👏🏻
This broke me - So well acted and just brilliant. Emmy's please.
This scene absolutely broke me because when I lose it, I do the same “hitting yourself” thing. You just hate yourself so much in that moment and you want to hit that feeling out of you and you feel like you deserve to be punished. You want to hit that person out of you. At least, that’s how it is for me.
It’s so heartbreaking to watch someone else go through the same thing, even if they’re fictional.
That scream was insane. It gave me chills the first time I saw it
2024 and this scene still breaks me 😢
WHERE ARE THEIR EMMY’S
I never watched this show, but this scene alone has me wanting to binge it
This was the first scene in the whole series that had me in tears. I so identify with Judy as a (very flawed) people pleaser who tries to keep it together, but when someone backs me into a corner, I panic. “Just stop!” I felt that
THIS SCENE ALONE DESERVES TO SWEPT ALL THE AWARDS. stellar and terrific performance from these two.
Hard to believe she was Velma in the Scooby Doo movies...
I know right
She’s aged so well
Even harder to believe she was Chutney in Legally Blonde. I saw it again recently, and nearly shit myself when I saw her face.
Judy needs some hugs 😭✨
This was a powerful scene. I love this series
Wow!!!! The scene of the season! Both broken, both vulnerable and both coming together in the end! Literally in the ups and in the downs. Bravo for Christina and Linda! Please an Emmy for them! 👏👏👏👏👏👏
I’m just gonna say this here and only head but..... Judy and Jen have wayyy more chemistry then Judy and Michelle. Sorry not sorry
YES! Jen & Judy >>> Judy & Michelle, Jen & Ben
Grace McLeod I mean they do but those couples r also rlly cute
Grace McLeod nooo i see jen and judy as best friends, not a coupe, michelle makes judy so happy 😤
Judy and Jen are each others person. They're soul mates. But that doesn't mean it has to be romantic.
@@mooneymagic4521 Okay, but, that's we want; that's our ship.
PLEASE UPLOAD THE JUDY BATHROOM SCENE WHERE SHE IS MAD AT HERSELF THE ACTING WAS PERFECT THANKS😭
This scene had me sobbing! So beautifully heartbreaking. Give them their emmys now!
The Best scene of dead to me...
Wow that was some amazing acting skills that show is getting watched immediately
Notice how both confession were on Episode 9 of both seasons
this scene is fantastic.
This scene was unbelievable. Both women deserve awards for this alone!
I remember these actresses from their younger years. Christina Applegate obviously from the legendary sitcom Married With Children, one movie she starred in was Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead. She's a very talented woman. It's also a shame that she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. I've mostly seen her in comedies so seeing Christina pulling off this type of role was a surprise and she nailed it. And what a woman Linda Cardellini is. Another comedy actress pulling off that type of role. Especially since I remember her from Grandma's Boy. Linda also starred in that Scooby-Doo movie which also starred Matthew Lillard, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr.
I cried so much watching this show last night! 😿
My favourite scene. Beautiful and perfect.
They both deserves Emmys for this scene alone …
Such a heartbreaking scene 😥
This scene resonates with me so much... Acting masterpiece! 🥺
Were their roles reversed, Judy might have killed Jen, because Jen deals with issues by attacking those around her.
Jen on the other hand takes all responsibility and all hatred of the situations she finds herself in on herself, as she deals with issues by martyring herself to save others.
So instead of attacking Jen, she starts attacking herself, because she'd rather hurt herself than even think about hurting others.
well we've seen this already though, that Jen attacks those around her mostly with her words. This whole thing starts with Jen attacking Ted for being distant and unloving with her words. He goes out and dies. She does the same thing to Judy, spits out hateful words, leading Judy to go out, and nearly die symbolically in the same spot as Ted. This time though Jen needs Judy back, so unknowingly saves her. The time Jen actually lashed out phsyically was in hatred yes, but also in defence of Judy
The acting, as a whole, in this entire series was so intense, Christina Applegate had to check herself into therapy because she kept drawing from her personal loss(es) to play the part. I mean, damn.
"I'm not like you."
Damn... That's deep.
I suffer with bpd and how Judy is is what I'm like..this relates to me so hard..well played!! #stopbpdstigma
Same here I also have bipolar depression, it’s a tough battle, this show does a great topic or the mental health on how it effects will life trauma and how it attacks Judy especially in the way she deals with personal issues. So come on season 3 we need it and the damn Emmy or Oscar lol
What is dpd?
András Kopf if you are asking BPD, idk about dpd, it just means, Bipolar Depression disorder
@@andraskopf268 dependency personality disorder
@@thescreamking944 cant wait for series 3 💚
goosebumps + tears every single time when judy hits her breaking point. UGH.
This whole scene made me cry.
This scene deserved every fucking award known to man.
This scene gets me everytime
Love their relationship 😊
I start crying every time I watch this scene. They are so good, amazing actors. They are just able to tap into that pain and go to those places. But I can never get it out of the back of my mind that Karen is watching all this go down on her street cam with a bowl of popcorn 🤣
These are like the best actresses ever!
I empathise waaaaayyy too hard with Judy to the point where when i first saw this scene I cried because Jen was also describing me 🤠
WE NEED SEASON 3
This scene always kills me
PLEASE POST MORE JEN AND JUDY SCENES
I love their friendship 🥺❤️🔥
saddest scene of the show.
THIS SCENE DESERVES EVERY OSCARS NOMINATION like E V E R Y
And of course an E V E R Y Oscars statue
For real guys I’ve seen this scene a ten times already and it’s PERFECT AF oh god their acting I’m soft 👏🏻
CHRISTINA!!!!!!! APPLEGATE !!!!!!!! that's what I felt when i was watching this scene. She's getting that emmy
Nope. Catherine O’Hara somehow won. And the Emmys once again prove what a joke they are.
what fantastic actresses
1:03-1:18 that shit hits hard
For me it was the best scene in the series.. Linda and Christina were phenomenal i cried with them and also Christina was nominated for this episode for an Emmy but not Linda and I think she deserved it more in this episode than the other that she was nominated!!
Yeah I've definitely had one of those breakdowns before
christina applegate can fucking act for life, shes so talented
Judy feels lonely at the end.
Is it just me, or did Jen say " come here baby" 🤔♥️
I was just about to comment that omg lol
OMG SHE DIDDDDD
Gran trabajo de las actrices enserio muy buena!
Fucking phenomenal acting on both parts
My favorite scene ☺️ I love their chemistry
this was so sad
OMG I LOVE this show😫
Amé esa escena!🦋
This scene was so intense
Everyone going on about Linda witch yes she was amazing but Christina is the one that made u cry she’s the one that made it feel reel and natural and you could feel it as if you were there
Jen hugging Judy , burst me in tears🤦🏿♂️
Gracias por esto! Me encanta Christina
i gave out my manly tears for this scene
That SCREAM
I can't believe they're ending this show! First one I've watched all the way through in a while.

My favorite scene
Linda and Christina 💕

No words. Wow
What episode and season is this?
Toward the end of Season 2. I don't think it was the final episode though
2x09
Thank you!

If these two had a child I would be literally a perfect mixture of them
😭😭😭
