I think this MV is based on they are a high fashion magazine. And like themselves, they did "everything " in this MV: photographer, models, DJ, made the sets, etc. Think about it.

I've thought of this as a song about the process that they went through to break out of the traditional Kpop mode and to become their individual, undeniable Stray Kids as a 'brand'. It was a major struggle for them. Something new baby Stay might not realize but we almost didn't have this wonderful group. They fought their way to where they are today.
Thanks to their remarkable work ethic, the company, JYP himself and JYP Entertainments' Division 1. This combination of amazing people all helped to create what seems to be a skyrocketed evolution. Just don't forget that each one of Stray Kids with the guidance of Bang Christopher Chan, they work extremely hard to be the best that they are able to be.
And gesh, what Stay wouldn't Love a pair of their shoes!!!!!! I know that I want some.

the korean title of this song 죽어보자 (jug-eoboja) literally means "let's die" and it's like a cheer people say before doing something (some groups say it before going on stage... so it can be said in similar situations to "break a leg") it makes me laugh that they translated it to "get lit" lmao

What I enjoy about your takes is that you break down the sound elements that the avg listener may not pay attention to and you delve a little deeper into the choices a producer might make. Thanks for giving this Stay more perspective.
This track is a fave and definitely on rotation on my current playlist.
Han wrote this one and as for the process they mainly use samples they have to buy.sometimes they produce their own samples. You should watch some Chan's room to learn about their process and see him work on songs. As for the brands Félix is LV ambassador, Hyunjin is Versace, Lee Know is Gucci, IN is Alexander MCqueen and Chan wear a lot of Givenchy. They performed Get lit for the first time at the AAA, you should check it out.

I am familiar enough to recognize them by face & probably 2/3rds of them by voice. I also know Han is apart of 3racha so that makes a lot of sense
Loved your reaction at 10:23 with the finger snapping to Felix's slow rhythm and at 10:36 at Han's scream (a bit of a side note: I love the noises he makes at the end of the Mayfly rap unit performance and I always wonder if other people pay attention to them/know it's Han).
I enjoy your explanation of what makes Stray Kids' music *their* sound to you, since I don't have knowledge in that area. Would you say that some other songs have a different sound? Especially earlier stuff, but I'm not sure how much of it you've listened to. I'm just asking out of curiosity, because I listen to complete albums sometimes and I'd like to understand what I'm hearing (I'm pretty sure you're the one that said that music, at least for the first time, shouldn't be put as background noise, and I try not to do that so that's why I've been putting off listening to your songs, but I'll get to it eventually!)
Felix's part was vibe I had to groove! And Han's scream scarred me a bit which in turn made me laugh like "ahh you got me" lol. I haven't listened to much of their early stuff only what was requested so I wouldn't know, but I'm sure their music has evolved over time to be the Charizard we see before us now lol. And yes that was me ranting about consuming music in an active way (it has your focus on it) instead of a passive (background music while you're distracted with something else) kind of way at least the first time you're listening to it.
Wonder SKZ will come out with their own brand 🤔

You said that this is America and people shooting guns as a matter of fact and part of a daily life. This is sad fact.
I wouldn't say it's daily life but yeah shooting guns (wether for celebration or for less savory reasons) is pretty common here especially in the part of the country I live in
