I had the opportunity to meet Garth in the late 80s, maybe very early 90s on an American Airlines flight from DFW back to BNA. He was just getting to be well known. We sat across from each other on the flight and he was listening to a Walkman ( I know, I’m old!). He could not have been nicer, along with Sandy, yes…that far back. He said he was listening to tracks from a new album. Long story short, he told me about Shameless, being on the album. Obviously an experience, I will never forget.
@@CaptainBuckeye It’s a huge problem. People who can’t separate opinions on policy over the person, reveal the hatred in their hearts. It’s an illness, maybe spiritual.
I lived in the same dorm as Garth at Okie State in 1980, it was Iba hall the jock dorm, I played football, Garth was on the track team, he threw the Javelin, hell of a thrower! He was really cool then, he was a bouncer at a club & would always let me & my buddies in during concerts, even if we didn't have tickets. My only regret is that I didn't somehow save his life back then...BAHAHA!
I mean this isn’t biased🤦♂️ you should see how he treats people that are just normal peasants average Joe citizens…… I can tell you right now he’s all whack a doodle!!
Garth is a Takamine artist. I’m sure they supply him as many guitars as he wants. That being said, it a cool thing for him to do.
