@16:30 replayed like 3X, trying to figure out how you got your cat in the store. 😅 I got some coffee now, I'm good. Oh, um. My cat Finn said something to your cat, but I barely speak human, so I'm not sure what the message was, so we will go with "Well, Hi." HAHAHA - I did the same thing tooo! Then I looked to see if iTunes was running in the background because I have many recordings of my chatting furbabies.
Me too! First I thought, is there a cat in the store? Why doesn't she say anything about it? Or is it her cat she took with her to the store? Then I thought maybe it was my cat, looked over but he was sleeping so I replayed it 2 more times until I figured it out 😂 I was like why is she acting like it's absolutely normal to hear a meow from somewhere between the yarn 😅
Your store has larger shelf space dedicated to yarn than my Hobby Lobby but just like my local store the number of skeins stocked for each yarn and color is so few I usually am unable to purchase for a project. More proof that retail is often not worth the gas getting there. Forces me to shop online
I’m making a corner to corner afghan with Simply Flawless prints right now. I don’t know how it will wash and dry, but it has a wonderful feel while crocheting with it, a real pleasure. The solid colors did not feel quite as soft to work with and seem a little thicker, but I just love the prints.
That very well could be. They also removed all the non-Hobby Lobby brand yarn and only carry their own brand, so that accounts for a bit of the missing space. Too bad they did not replace the Lion Brand, Bernat, and Premier yarn with more house brand yarn. Instead they just left a whole row out. Funny thing is, I never bought the major brand yarn there (cheaper elsewhere with coupons) but I’m still bitter it’s gone. 🤔
Seems like every natural fiber is being obliterated from everywhere. They want people to wear, acrylic, polyester in other words plastic. So much fir shopping in town.
I went to Hobby Lobby the other week and was very disappointed indoor yarn section they had shrunk it down to nothing done away with a lot of beautiful yarn went to Michaels and it was the same thing they had struck down on their yarn to like two rows very disappointed
I didn’t see any sock yarn. They had only the few colors of hand dyed hanks in the video. I think a little more is due in for the hand dyed but the section is significantly reduced and no longer hangs on a peg wall. It’s too bad.
Most yarns at Hobby Lobby are acrylic - so I rarely go there. Why don't you highlight the non-acrylic yarns. I'd like to see what they have that is real.
Thanks for the comment. Only the few hand dyed hanks in this video have no acrylic. I get most of my non acrylic at my local yarn shop. I have a video of that. I’m also making spotlight videos coming up that feature natural fibers. 😉.
I have only used the Sweet Delight from Hobby Lobby for amigurimi and it was nice. If you try something else from Hobby Lobby for your amigurimi please let us know how it goes.
We don't have a Hobby Lobby here in Canada 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦Thank you for sharing 😀 😊 ☺️ 😄 😘
Beautiful yarns. TFS! ❤

🤣. Hi Finn! Yes, when Coleman hears me talking he often joins the conversation.

Lovely to see all the beautiful Hobby Lobby yarns, thanks for taking us with you 😊

Yes, they sometimes don’t have all I need. I’m fortunate to have two HL stores in a 10 mile radius and can go to both to get enough when needed.
Brautifil
Thank you for this video. I like using hobby lobby‘s I love this yarn print. When made into a scarf, the print from this yarn is really nice!
Love hobby lobby I hear a kitty 😂I make blankets love their yarn
Good yarn yarn bee ❤
Thank you for taking me along 😊
I agree. I love this cotton is more a garment cotton.

Thank you for the update!
I’m sad they discontinued the must be merino wool yarn.
I am as well. I liked it. I have a little left in stash.
The Soft Secret reminds me of Big Twist "Shine" I get at Joann Fabrics.
I Iove the kitty noises!
He was helping with the voice over. 🤣
I actually looked around for a kitty and I don’t own a cat😂
@@annegraheck5713😂 I, too, looked around for my cat, thinking he was stuck inside a closet!
What pattern do you use to make kitchen scrubbies? Thank you for the video!
Easy crochet dish scrubby by bag o day on RUclips. Her other one is How to Crochet a kitchen scrubby. One is a flower and one is round.
Hello there.. new subscriber. Thanks for the shop with me
Hello! I was just enjoying your video on the new Big Twist yarns this afternoon.
@@thirdstreetintheloop awesome! Such pretty colors!
It seems like they shrank the yarn department by quite a bit. I think they were losing money when they have it 30% off every other week.

I like the cotton wheel solids. Too bad those were eliminated from the new line up.
I agree. I will miss the solids.

I will so miss the solids also. Made beautiful soft baby blankets

Not happy. It was the only place I could see and buy sock yarn.😢. Now there's none
Is that true for all Hobby Lobbys?
Are they discontinuing sock yarn? And the small but nice selection of hand dyed?
I didn’t see any sock yarn. They had only the few colors of hand dyed hanks in the video. I think a little more is due in for the hand dyed but the section is significantly reduced and no longer hangs on a peg wall. It’s too bad.

I'm not into 100% acrylic either, ok for soft toys perhaps but garments that need washing not a good idea
So when do the resets normally happen? I've been looking to stock up, but my funds are usually limited.
Resets seem to happen in the fall (Sep Aug-ish) and in the spring (March April-ish)
That's yarn is good for amigurumis?
I have only used the Sweet Delight from Hobby Lobby for amigurimi and it was nice. If you try something else from Hobby Lobby for your amigurimi please let us know how it goes.
Is this store in America?
Yes. They have a website but I do not know if they ship internationally.
I am very dissatisfied with the yardage . Most sweaters take 1000 to 2000 yards. Most people cant afford to enjoy. This hobby any more,😢
The prices of things has gone up so much it does make it hard. ☹️
