owlwoodsouth Still learning that maschine. You talk about “sync” is to be used for effects?...you mean some tape delay? I actually use sync more often. Repro on a 2bus.
@@amazeus1980 actually, I mean more as a tone effect. The sync head has a specific sound to it that is a tiny bit more "lo-fi" than the actual repro head. The sync head is used when tracking so that the performer can hear the other tracks on the tape without any latency/delay; then, when playing back for mixing, the repro head is used (which has the highest fidelity). The sync head definitely has a vibe, though, and I'm sure that's why UA decided to include it in their emulation. Cheers!
@@owlwoodsouth I have that plugin since about 10 years…and just now I know how to combine stuff in order to squeeze from it what I want… Btw we have done a test with one of my friends…compared access analog real Studer to UAD…sounds exactly the same! What is quite funny because it is a different model! But anyway…uad sounds great I think.
This is the best plugin review I have seen so far well detailed I love it. I had to subscribe after seeing this, I wonder if you could do the same plugin review on the IK Multimedia tapes and we'll?
Can you just create a stereo bus of the Studer instance... route all of your recorded tracks to that; send it to your master fader; rather than use single instances or the studer which eats computer memory? Then from there send that to your master fader with the Ampex and send to your print track? Thanks. Awesome video. Trying to learn this plugin.
Waiting for more videos like that one!!! ❤❤❤
Thanks! Best video - by far - about this plugin.
Yeah! UAD should promote these vids, good idea!! A fount of esoteric geekery!!
UAD does not want you to know to much…they want to sell a product 😂
Thank you very much, I’m so glad I found your RUclips channel, it is my new nr one!

hey this video was made on my bday!!!
Do videos again😊
Listening in HD600s. The differences are minuscule. Cranked settings gives obvious changes. But...yeah.
Good one bro. Keep it up. I hope UAD will tagged your video.
Cheers!!
