Thank you! ❤️ I didn't know about 2nd way, will definetely use it. I would also mention, that we need to lock this grid layer and start drawing on new one, but it's obvious I guess - writing this just for beginners! :)
Thanks for the tutorial, I think the first method was helpful and easy to learn plus with the 1st method I got all three axis and 2nd method is quite tedious and it doesn't even have the y-axis. 😄
I am not able to copy the line segment in alignment with the original one. I tried using shift too. Eventually the whole grid is getting displaced. Please help.
Hi! Please try to watch video precisely. Perhaps you’re missing something. Maybe you should lock grid. But basically try to repeat absolutely each step in video.
Hi! Hold Alt, then hold left mouse button on needed object. Then start to move it, and after this hold shift also. Did I help you? If not - send me time of moment when you have trouble please :)
There is no clear video of the third steps of the first Way of Isometric grid. Is that -60 degree or -120 degree ? Pls. help.... Thanks for our quality videos.
@@tt_tutorials i have, i think its problem with my illustrator i cant even decrease stroke weight to .25 when the line is straight But i find a loophole of it just by rotating it to atleast 20° and then changing font weight and rotating again to -20°
@@tt_tutorials well, i don't feel like you're being serious. But i couldnt find the other way to allign the lines can you send your contact so i can send you image what the main problem
I am just getting little Star of David (Jewish Religion) Somehow my Vertical Lines are not over the diagonal cutting edges. i mean i can manually move them aside but why isnt it working for me like for you ?=
@@tt_tutorials 1:58a after that and even after i press aligne it still isnt working. The only thing that works for me is manually moving the vertical lines over.
Did you select ‘align to art board’? Also please make sure that you do absolutely everything step by step. Each action. That you don’t move anything manually. It must work, David. 🧐 Try to press ctrl + A to make sure that you’ve selected all layers...

After you skew the lines in the second video you lose the vertical lines. How do you add back the vertical lines?
thanks a lot. I learned it easily with watching this video.
Fantastic tutorial! We need more. Thanks
Thank you 🙏
Instead of duplicating lines you could also use the blend tool between two line and select the amount of steps you want.
Yes, sure! This will take the same time (almost).
Wow, I'm not fluent in English but I understood everything. great tutorial!
Thank you so much
Enjoy! Thank you for feedback🙂
i may use the second way i think it works well for drawing
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!♥️♥️♥️
The 2nd way does not produce the vertical lines just the diagonal lines. It seems a step is missing...
You are the beeesssttt!!!
Thank you 🙏
Thanks! I did it the second way, works great with HUGE canvas :)
Cool! Hope you’ll create something cool ❤️❤️❤️

2:49 suggestion for beginners like me: before drawing the rectangle activate the option "align to the grid" so that the rectangle will be perfect!
Thanks

Hi! Tools panel on the left, find three dots at the bottom. Click on them and find the grid tool 😀

the trick also is, to NOT have an even amount of vertical lines when you start, it must be uneven. i had the same problem :)
Thank you 🙏
doesnt work
