i can’t believe Kevin finally met his match. Vidcund is so fucking overpowered. can run at supersonic speed, immune to fire and snow, doesn’t need food, can withstand days of snowman music torture. just wow

@@glanni I think what happened is that the fireplace burned away, leaving him with a path to walk through, but it wasn't visible due to the sped-up time. Sims can go through fire, but not through solid objects.
However social workers can teleport.

@@OrigamiPhoenix I don't think fireplaces can burn away though tbh. They're "build" objects, not "buy" objects for starters (like windows etc), but they also add a chimney and the game wouldn't know what to do with the remnants of the chimney if the fireplace was to burn away, so it's just reasonable to protect that item.

Kevin gets a genie. There is an option to wish for money and not have to work to buy a new kitchen. Kevin doesn't pick it.
My favorite part was when Kevin reenacted Edgar Allen Poe's "The Cask of Amontillado" by trapping the guy in Kevin's wall and leaving him for dead.

I am absolutely IN LOVE with this playthrough. Its like the game KNOWS Kevin is a chaotic murderer in every game and is constantly topping his chaotic antics with its own. It's an amazing pairing 😂

You could befriend someone from Vidcund’s family and move in with them(They have a big house) so you would be able to easily kill him and you would get a lot of money

This is such a fun series, I’m extremely happy that he’s continuing this, I’ve also never seen a sim resist death like Vidcund.

In this episode of The Sims 2: Kevin gets promoted, demoted, promoted, demoted and then finally promoted again. Vidcund survives two fires, survives freezing temperatures and gets out of Kevin's christmas music torture with his sanity intact. Kevin also gets abducted by aliens after getting obsessed with grilled cheese.
I genuinely think even jim would be impressed by how strong vidkund is, maybe Jim needs to take on his strongest enemy yet… vidkund. Also Kevin and vidkund. Enemies to lovers

I made Vidcund into a vampire in my neighbourhood. Now every time someone looks through the telescope during the day, Vidcund just goes: "Ahhh, the sun! I must flee!"

i think this is my favorite ever sims video... the speed at which vidcund appears to tell sim-kevin to stop spying on him, the multiple ways kevin tries and fails to kill vidcund, the mime to clown to mime storyline... it's so choice, i laughed out loud several times!

I think Kevin is more of an instant gratification kinda guy, anyway
@@frauleinfunf Not to be a party pooper, but the reason that Vidcund seems unkillable is because he is. Sims 2 doesn’t allow you to kill playable sims when you’re not playing on their lot for some reason (probably to make sure they don’t die randomly when you’re playing them) and Vidcund is a playable sim in Strangetown. This is also the case for the cowplant which will refuse eat any playable sim outside your household. The only sims you don’t control that you can kill in the Sims 2 are townies and NPCs. The only way Kevin can kill Vidcund without cheats is to get him to move in and then he can kill him whichever way he wants.
Vidcund should be incorporated into the cannon now. The clipping through the burning room is what sold me on him becoming an established character.
I feel like playing Vidk\cund would make for an interesting experience. I mean he's apparently immortal; he can swim for weeks without a break and can sleep standing up, he can't drown, can't burn to death, can't starve, and can't lose his job. He's like the Hercules of this world, except his adventures are much more mundane, and mostly revolve around the neverending failures of a RUclipsr named Kevin to kill him with various scenarios, scenarios that inevitably backfire and result in neverending financial misfortune and sometimes near death for Kevin. He has only one weakness: Kevin using his telescope during daytime.
Knowing how passionate Vidcund is about telescopes, and how bad he is with frustration management, it's equally as likely that he's just trying to explain to Kevin that a telescope _is not made for usage during the day_ but at NIGHT! He's an anti-social, impatient nerd, and he's had it up to HERE with all these amateurs!
Vidcund Curious needs to become a recurring character, he needs to meet Jim one day
Since Vidcund is actually my favorite Sim, I'm utterly and completely in on that.

@@Ilivepuppys That's weird tbh. I've had guests die before by accident, and other times I literally imprisoned neighbors for weeks and they lived.
I don't know if it had to do with the fact that I played the game over many years and different patches, but maybe that's got a part in it. I don't know how it's in the Ultimate Collection tho

I'd laugh if Vidcund is set to be unkillable in the game's code, similar to how certain Skyrim NPCs are. It honestly seems like it, because killing sims in this game is surprisingly easy, especially with all three methods he was trying.
Kevin just had to pick the ONE sim that's impossible to kill as his target. Classic.
That's actually a pretty close guess for the game's code. NPCs/townies can be killed, but you can't kill sims that are playable. So Kevin was wasting his time in the most glorious fashion ever
