    Thanks for having me back again Korbs. I'm sure the title and sound bite will get a fair amount of traders riled up, but if they are still not convinced, I have my book "The Psychology of Not Falling Down For Beginning Skiers" coming out soon. It'll likely be out before the app launches that I mentioned during our talk. 😜

    love this interview - this guy is real through and through. Develop a slight edge and trade mechanically.

    he was right when saying you won't understand if you have no options basics lol but great podcast as usual.

    Exciting to see a new platform made by some trader. Ninja trader is going the wrong way. Important with a proper super DOM. Volume charts / volume profile. Delta vwap and so on. And then a good window for risk and options. Interactive brokers software is terrible.

    @marketsqueezer 27 дней назад

    Absolutely correct. Most people believe they can trade, but they have no "mechanical" edge and they can not control their risk. This is why they believe that psychology is a big part of trading, but it is NOT.

    I switch from FX and Indices to Futures and it is way better to trade future, it is just a better product.

    If psychology didn’t matter we would see the same results or similar results for similar groups of people trading the same strategy and similar capital. For example ICT is a pretty mechanical system but we see a huge discrepancy in who is profitable and who isn’t. There are ones who studied the system for years and still barely profitable vs a few who make loads of money trading it.

    I think rod was thinking of the maintenance margins for nq lol. At amp regularly it’s 1000 usd for day trading

    • @futuresfanatic
      @futuresfanatic 2 месяца назад +1

      Yep, I was referring to the initial and maintenance margins. The $500-$1000 day trading margins at AMP, Ninja, and elsewhere are another perfect example of the massive over leveraging that the "introducing broker industry," forget the prop firms, have contributed to starting most traders down a treacherous path. And don't get me started with the account minimums at those firms.

    This guest is clueless! I know how to trade, my biggest problem trading has been self sabotage and sizing too big...to say this is not psychology is, ummm. He is fortunate not to have these issues but has blinders on when it comes to others.

      lol how long have you been profitable for? longer than 3 years? if not, then you don't know how to trade... go buy a psychology book & have it fix all your issues

    • @TechSeller
      @TechSeller 2 месяца назад

      @@a3_a3 Not sure where you get 3 years from, I and tens of thousands can be consistent in a sim, change to real money and that all changes. Please explain how that's not physiological Mr. LOL. The analogy that Rod made with skiing is as illogical as your comments!

      Let me see if I get it. So you're all good on Pop Tart, the bunny slope, but as soon as you take the lift to the top of the mountain and try to navigate down Devil's Ball Sack where the fear is very real, and the slope and conditions are extremely different, you transform into a yard sale until your unhinged decent is mercifully stopped by hitting a tree. Yep, Jared Tendler is your man, not Jonny Moseley.
