I thought my 2 ABC O&O’s here in southern California had this. which were KABC 7 in LA, and KGTV 10 in San Diego. as I’m seeing now, So Cal missed out on a bulk of good tv imaging promo proper. I mean, we didn’t have a local version of things like turn to news, we’re with you, it must be ABC, america’s watching ABC, hello, come on. you’d think we would with LA being one of the big guys.

Yes indeed. KGO uses the same VO in their IDs, modeled after the ABC campaign, but also adds the “News One” sounder at the beginning.
