- ...as they're having an event there like they did last August ! I took a few prezzies for Jim Shipley - who wrote 'The Making Of The Railway Children' book . On the way home I called at Wycoller again - a strange little hamlet with a ruined hall dating from 1600 there...

The picture at the end is that how it looked at the bottom of Queen street ? What year would it have been please?
...probably about 1910 I think....the huge Britannia mill was demolished and a dance hall went up in the roaring 20's.....but then it was converted into a swimming baths in the 1950's !

@@victoriahaworth2651 ....the library actually has....or had , a collection of old local postcards and for a fee they enlarge them into photographs - so I had 4 or so done and then framed them . One is of the Towngate , when there was an old pub from the early 1700's called The Queens ....or the Queens Head , which was later demolished and then the skating rink / billiards hall was built in it's place in 1911 !
@@StevesHornet900 yes I was always too busy to look through them . Unless as you say they were requested . I was involved when the co op knocked the old library down and built the one that’s there now . It’s fascinating .

1:27:00 BMW Albert turns right at a turn left only junction.
...yes, I suppose it was ok as the road wasn't busy - but RUclips is full of collisions of vehicles in the wrong lane then swerving , so it'd be safer to just go round the roundabout instead of risking it.
Steve I reckon I have seen this one 1⃣ before!
...my address was visible on the envelope ! When Derek showed his address on his video , his bike got nicked the day after !
