- Hey Guys, Thanks for watching. I wanted to review the Polk Audio Signa S4. I know it doesn't have the crisp mids of the Bose or the connectivity of the Sonos but it's not expensive at all! 80W total power (40W soundbar + 40W subwoofer) is really deceiving here. Let me explain why some of the criticism has been off the mark and let you hear it.

Hi Guys! Wanted to give a heads up. The audio samples go all the way to max volume and bass. I put a note on screen when it happens so you can turn the volume down if it's too loud.

Appreciate it bro, mine just got in today, easy set up and running, this is really nice and really really good. Wow I didn’t know this came out. I’m still enjoying my S2 via eARC and Ethernet modem to my Samsung QN90 75” I might have to pick this up soon asap!
Did you calibrate the sound for your room before playing it ? I want to know if it has option to do sound calibration to optimum sound

Wow! One of the best product reviews I have seen. Good job, man. I have the Polk Signa S2 which I have been really happy with but after watching your review I really want to upgrade to the S4. If I can find it for a good price I will.
I just got the Signa S2 for $30 brand new from my coworker since his son works at bestbuy and gets discounts. I'm loving it but I already want the S4 haha. my TCL has dolbt atmos but sadly the S2 doesn't. But still amazing for the price I got it for.
Hi...BRILLIANT vid review!!! Does this Polk Signa 4 require an EARC connection for a TRUE Dolby Atmos sound experience or will a standard ARC port work just as well? Peace...🙏♐🏹
eARC is a must, aswell as HDMI 2.1
what happens if you use a non ARC/eARC Hdmi or optical connection ? how many speakers work inside the soundbar ?
If you're using only optical then it would be standard Dolby digital keep in mind the sound bar will decode it but it's not full 5.1.....as far as the speakers I'm assuming you're referring to the upward drivers they will most likely play surround sounds not Atmos...
Would you pick this or the Dennon S517? Both of them cost $400 now, but the Dennon is on sale and I can get it for $350.
There the same company should be the same specs
DENON has HDMI input and added pure mode. But the design is better with polk
Is 265euro a good deal for this? Or is there anything other at this price point that would be better?
At 265 euro, I would check out jbl. When jbl is on sale, you can get the JBL 5.0 multibeam at $ 299 sometimes (not on sale, it's 499). I did a review on it but its overall performance is better than the Polk. I got a Samsung 800b for 299 usd on sale. I prefer the Polk s4 to LG s65.
Unfortunately, the Polk always plays with all speakers via ARC and Bluetooth, so no pure stereo possible with music.
Or is mine defective?
And what about Aux? Also through all speakers?
Where could I find this for cheap?

This would have been perfect for my vacation condo. But the bar is too wide for my setup. Thirty six inches is all I have to work with. Oh well.
Hi I recommend the Polk magnifi then on sale. It is like the s4 but small soundbar with Dolby atmos. Very impressed with it and fits your space. I have been reviewing it for 60 days now and it’s great

Hello again😄in Greece right now I can buy sumsung Q700B for 350 euro(I really like this model but readbad reviews about reliability issues and problems)and the other model I like is Sony s400 for 250 euro.Which one is best for movies and why....
Hi! If you can get the q700b for 350 euros or even better at 300 euros, the q symphony adds more depth for cinema experiences and the bass is good with good Dolby atmos for that price. Because of the reliability issues, it makes me nervous to recommend it. The Sony s400's subwoofer is the main feature and it's great for marvel movies but the dialogue could be clearer.
@@TheFrenchGlow you think Q700b will be better for movies?will the bass be good as in the s400?How bad is the dialog in the s400?
