    *Very inspiring session, all around!* The guy with his uncle obviously _practice a tremendous amount..._ and you can see it when they drop into a U-Turn... beautifully fluid. They exemplify the concept that the *_body is the upper half of the motorcycle._* Fully engaged. The black road glide is a beast! Love love hearing it.

    I started 5 years ago on a 400lb sport bike, went to a 600lb v-rod for about 3 years, and just got a 900lb ultra classic Electra glide. The other 2 bikes I could flick around real easy for slow maneuvers but this heavy bike- I knew right away I needed some actual instruction. Going to use these tips there’s a lot of stuff here I never even thought about. Much thanks. Seeing these veteran riders learning also helps a lot. Someone linked me to this near 3 hour video and I thought “oh boy”. Turns out it’s full of golden info.

    Robert, I am making great progress thank to your channel, so Thank you! I am making u-turns within 18 feet to left, but I have trouble u-turning to the right (20-22ft turns). I think its my fear of having my clutch arm/hand fully extended when uturning right combined with turning my head. Do you have any advice to get more comfortable going to the right? Secondly, I feel like I can only make those tight turns to left by heavily relying on rear brake pressure, not just covering the brake (Im going 9-11 mph). My '21 CVO seems to strong to not use the brake once I preload it to 1800-1900 rpms.

    • @BeTheBossOfYourMotorcycle
      @BeTheBossOfYourMotorcycle  2 года назад +1

      That’s great news! All I can say regarding the right turns is keep practicing them and apply the same techniques that you use when making left turns. Turn your head and eyes, keep it loaded and lean the motorcycle. If you’re trying to keep the u-turn 18’ or less, you’re going to want to use the rear brake, but you only need very light pressure on it.

      @@BeTheBossOfYourMotorcycle thank you, Robert. Your channel content has done more for me than you can possibly know. Been riding 32 years, and until now, I did not know what I did not know. Eyes open now, safer rider, better skills by 100%, mysteries of proper motorcycle handling demystified. I actually enjoy practicing drills after hours in my town’s high school parking lot more than I enjoy regular road riding.
