One of most iconic songs ever; one of my all time favorites, and now I get to learn it on ukulele thanks to Lisa! Bravo 👏

Great fun to play and sing. Super to play more difficult chords. A big thank you for an excellent tutorial.

you have got a great mix of songs Lisa! Have you ever done a tutorial on Tequila? i've been playing the tenor cord shapes on my baritone but they don't sounds as crisp. gonna have to brake the tenor out! have you tried the new kala contour tenor uke?

I also love this song. I learned to
play it a few months ago. But, I can't quite do the Bm yet. I play song with the bouncy strum.
Suggestion: Just today, I re-discovered the great old sixties song "Bang Bang My Baby Shot Me Down.
I added it to my repoirtoire
    of modern murder ballads.
    With: "Maxwell's Silver Hammer"
    & "Godbye Earl"
    "Bang Bang . . .
Sounds so good. The verses & chorus are easy.
But, it needs that great intro & interlude on finger-picking.
    I can't do that.
Perhaps you could find an alternate way to strum it.
Like you did in "Try A Little Kindness"

Thanks for the update on your progress. Bang Bang! That intro is fun. You could do the same sort of pattern as "Try a Little Kindness - strum on 1 - the fingerpick 1 -23 -12 -3 2 - It isn't exact but it would give the flavor.

@@TheUkuleleFool Flavor is enough for me. But please decode.
      What is the 1-23
      12-3
      2- ?

Hey Lisa, I've been "practicing " for around 10 years and have learned a lot of tricks of the trade but not the trade. with so many great tutorials i find myself jumping from song to song and yet never really mastering the song. Should i just focus on 1 song at a time. i do enjoy putting in 3 - 4 hours a day but am i hurting myself by doing so?

If you enjoy what you are doing, and you aren't finding that you are causing muscle fatigue, joint soreness or a strain in your wrists, or uncomfortable fingernail beds, than go for it. When I was a music major, I would have to play my flute for that amount of time between rehearsals and practicing. If you feel like you want to master a song then I recommend several techniques - practicing problem areas in isolation, using a metronome or drum track, memorizing and the hardest part (in my experience) making a videos of your performance and then listening back to critique yourself.
