Une optimisation de cette performance est possible en modifiant le calage des arbres à cames.

It hits the rev limiter while is still on top power. Would go better with a rev limiter that kicks in later.

avec la meme configuration, j'ai 202cv a 7200tr et 202Nm çà tourne depuis 4 ans sur piste...
il me semble que la votre n'avait pas de boite a air (vu a l'époque sur les forum car on avait fait le montage au meme moment), peut etre que ceci expliquerait la différence.

Il faut préciser que le moteur est très pointu à cause de contraintes au niveau du calage des AAC.

Which part number camshafts did you use? There isn't a 295° option on the catcams catalogue
Hello, it's the RC setup, for camshaft too. RC has 213°@1mm setup (Catcams infos). Anyway the OEM cams specs are quite similar (Catcams infos too) (except VVT offset).

+antonio rapuano We didn't work on the hardware on this motor, but it seems to be yes. There is one problem about pistons : you have to take them from the RC version. On this car the pistons came from S16 version, and there is a restriction with the camshafts setting, that's why the torque and power is very (too) late on the curves.
+Dijon Gestion Moteur DGM so in the end what you did on the motor ew10j4 is :
1 intake parts of the RC
2 camshaft of the RC
and those parts are fully compatible,so you can take from the 206 RC and put in to the 206 gti motor without any problem?
3 If i well understand, the pistons are the stock one (of the 206 gti),and with the stock pistons there is a lower torque..but if you put the 206 RC pistons in,the torque will be more higher? is it right?
4 no work on the ECU MOTOR is needed..so the standard ecu with the stock tuning will work fine after the installation of the camshafts and intake ?

Bonjour, en effet la réserve de couple est très faible (parfois inexistante), elle est entre 0 et 5% pour un essence atmo. Pour qu'une intervention se ressente sur la route il faut compter au moins 10% d'écart.
Vaut mieux changer de voiture, ça ne sert à rien à vrai dire sur cette motorisation de dépenser. Tu peux meme aller sur une 106 75cv si tu es jeune permis, ça te changera déjà de beaucoup :)

Si sur les atmos il faut alors passer en stage 3 pour avoir un turbo

c'est éxpliqué, je fais actuellement la meme modif sur la mienne, ils ont mis un plenum alu de 206 rc + un papillon de 206 rc modifié à cable, surement un kit d'admission et des arbres a cames taillés, une cartographie faite sur mesure

C'est sûr que c'est très différent de moteurs turbo ou d'origine.
Bah non meme pas, en général, et d'origine, les courbes sont plus propres. Là on a un bon gain en couple (et de puissance aussi) jusqu'à 3000, puis après, hop, une grossssse chute, pour ensuite se remettre à monter
Oui cela est dû aux contraintes de calage de cette config, pas le choix malheureusement...
oui, ces aac n'offre quasiment pas de fenêtre de calage avec piston d'origine s16, et le manque d’écope d'aire type grA y est pour quelque chose également.
nous étions tout a fait content du résultat en tout cas, tout a fait logique au vue des pièces moteur.
