@user-ow2cd2rs5d the machine freezes the herbs to 0 degrees. I put the herbs in and hit start, the machine does the rest!

Could you take the herbs off the stems using a wide or large funnel directly into the jar? Maybe with a grate or larger strainer over it to catch the stems? Just wondering if you’ve tried anything like that. Just thinking of how to make it easier than to put the herbs back.
Or, could you pull them first before drying and just freeze the stems separately? Have you tried different methods of preparing like that?
I don’t have one yet, so I’m trying not to reinvent the wheel. lol.

@lesliefischer6680 the best thing to do would be to pull off the stem before the freeze drying process. They are very delicate (as in will crumble into small peices or powder-like) after freeze drying. :)
