We risk our lives for "years" for our country, then when we ask to utilize our "earned benefits toward education" they always say; No, certifications that are not 2-6 yr. basic learning qualifications with college degree standards. It's ridicules! most get out of military and need a paycheck to feed the family, not a condescending professor who screws you over with a C because of one late assignment. A degree that takes forever and does not guarantee a job afterwards. Anyhow - this is a problem for welders, pilots, inspectors, appraisers, contractors.... exec.

I will be starting the course in NYS which is 100 hours online and 40 hours in the field. Two questions, how do I get to the 800 question pre test so I can start my training now and are the manuals that are included just downloaded or are they physical which I would prefer.
The first two years of being a home inspector on your own are incredibly tough. You better have a lot of money socked away or some other source of income coming in. 80% of home inspectors don't make it to to see year three.
May I ask why there aren't many female home inspectors in the business? I am a realtor and I am thinking about adding another skill under my tool belt.

Im in Maryland, I received the physical books but I’ve heard they no longer issue physical books

If you want men to be prospectful, you must let them excel in some industries. Otherwise, I'll prepare to be replaced in another field.
