Thanks for these videos Joe! I'm going through the exact same thing and these videos really help. I'm still working through it, currently to the point where I'm getting tested every Friday. I know logically that it's irrational but my mind is still manifesting symptoms. It's unreal how the mind can make you have physical symptoms.

smakkyoface the mind is an extremely powerful thing. I’m glad my videos are helping you on your journey to mental health. I still find that I can agonize over physical manifestations of my anxiety. Only we can’t dispute facts. Tests done after 90 days are CONCLUSIVE. Good luck on your journey.

Hey joe, I want to thank you for getting me through one of the darkest times in my life. I went 1 month thinking I had hiv to the point where I was actually looking for doctors before I got tested. I ended up finding the courage to get tested and thank god I’m negative. I want to kill the stigma of hiv. I think once the world get a better understanding about this virus and how you can still live a normal life. It will encourage people to get tested and make others not be afraid of dealing with a hiv positive person. Your videos got me through a scary time man. Thank you 🙏

Bjorn Whyte I am so glad these videos helped. I was unsure at first If making these videos would actually help others. I have had such a positive response and I know now that I did the right thing. The stigma can only change if we all do our part in educating those around us. Thank you for becoming one of those pioneers. Good Luck on your journey my friend.

    Hey Joe,
Going through the same phase as you did. I only kissed a girl with some tongue action and the next day realised she was HIV positive on ART meds is what she told me. Then only act between us was kissing, nothing more!. She says I needn't worry at all. But my mind is killing me! Hopefully your videos seems to be helping me. Thanks :)

Arjun Shenoy if she is taking her meds and is undetectable, then she can’t transmit. Especially through kissing. Even if she wasn’t on her meds. Having gone through this has pushed me to work against the Stigma associated with HIV. Good luck on your journey towards mental health.

It’s incredible how many of us are out there Everything you have talked about I’m experiencing
My counselor mentioned the same to try grounding exercises

Exactly grounding and thought stoppage. Both are pivotal to my mental health. I find that even if I start to slack in my routine, I quickly fall backwards. Routine is everything. The mind is so powerful.

Hey joe, so i had unprotected sex with someone who told me they were negative and on PREP, however its been almost roughly two months now and i am scared for my life. I always think about it everyday, i cant concentrate. Ive felt fatigue and sometimes my legs would ache. And recently now, my tonsils seem to be a bit swollen. I haven’t gotten tested because i am so scared to find out the worse. Like what would i do? How would i pay for this treatment? I am just so scared for my life, and i am constantly feeling my neck for any swollen lymph nodes. Like sometimes i am okay and sometimes i am not and i just really need help.

You are suffering as a byproduct of stigma. HIV is a condition similar to diabetes these days. With medication you would live a full normal and untranslatable life. Now the facts. You can’t diagnose based on symptoms. Nothing you described alone an indicator. If you aren’t searching things online yet, DONT! but if affirmations that you are fine are what helps you sleep at night, download Quora app. Make sure data you are reviewing is current. Get tested. A rapid test can have you results in 20 mins. Yes it’s scary. I tested multiple times and it never got any easier. Trusting the results of the test is the next big step. Tests don’t lie. Get tested. Good luck on your journey any please let me know how it turns out.
