Your reaction made me realise why I love her album so much - I'm not a huge fan of slow/sad songs at all but something really hit different with her album for me. The kicked up production and "un-stripped" sound really hits it for me. Everyone has different tastes! Good to see different opinions of the album cause it makes you realise things about yourself, keep reacting!

IVE WAITED FOR THIS 🩷 i think she holds back her vocal ability on some of her songs on purpose. she wants to be a slow sad songs girl, not an adele / beyoncé powerhouse vocalist or dua lipa / ariana grande pop girl although she could do both flawlessly. she also credits lana del rey and melanie martinez as 2 of her biggest inspirations. she sent previews of her new album to lana since lana is a fan of her and she told her she loves it. lana also interviewed her recently. so insane how she’s having huge respected artists as FANS. she went to portals album release party where her and melanie met and rumor has it there will be ft melanie martinez and ft lana del rey on madison’s 2nd album coming later this year. I love this album so much, but I also understand that it is not for everyone especially with the production elements. I was lucky enough to go to one of her shows in germany last year. It was everything. Girlie can siiiiing and her belting is great live. She was also super sweet, it was a venue with about 2000 people (+/- a few hundred) and she took her time to talk to us after the show
That is so nice of her to stay and talk to everyone afterwards. I look forward to watching some of her live footage... but definitely interested in her new album since it's been "Lana Del Rey" approved haha
ahhh im so glad you reacted to it im bummed you didn't connect with it but sometimes albums just don't click, i love that you can appreciate music even when you don't personally love it. maybe it'll grow on you, some albums especially those which don't instantly stand out need time to settle within. thought you'd be interested to know Raye co-wrote 4 songs in the album and madison wrote the whole album about her struggles with her mental health. madison also absolutely stands out live with her vocals, she is incredible live with her performances she's a true performer. she also takes so much pride in her visuals to accompany her songs, but i also appreciate either way if the sound doesn't connect sometimes it just doesn't connect. possibly her next album might be more your vibe she's definitely taking a more vocal heavy approach especially with her song 'dangerous'.

In the entire video you was saying that "this song could be better" so i'm quite sure that you will find that better songs in that album. I think its really worth the check and i would like you to react
I am a MADISON STAN and I love this album and it got me through so much. BUT she could’ve edited at least 4 songs off this album. The quantity loses some of the quality. Especially in the first couple songs.
