Enjoyed your content, Henry! I am the odd man out: I have been in the industry for nearly 40 years (63 yr old). Unlike most of my peers, I'm tech-savvy. I started as an artist in this business and slowly lost that direct connection to my ideas with AutoCAD, Sketchup, Rhino 7, and Revit. I realized that most of those tools move right to the "objectivacation" (dimensions, areas, etc.) of the design when the creativity expressed in a sketch is lost. I started to look for a link between my vision and reality, and the Ipad might be it. It rests right between a free forum for expression and dimensional quantification that allows ideas to be processed into architecture. You insites are very helpful for me on my journey, so thanks a bunch.
I am constantly learning while I watch your content training. Not just with the content but also the way you present it. Thank you. Subscribing to this channel has been well worth it!
Great content Henry. Would love to see a more in depth review of your morpholio trace process though. I use this daily for school and would love to use it the way you do to develop my own style. As always, fantastic quality and work on these videos!
I was wondering, have you tried the concepts app? I find that when I need my plans scaled and have to edit its pretty handy. Not to mention it has a lot of perspective guides, not that I’ve used them for a project just yet. I also use morpholio trace. I have yet to perfect my whole system but so far these are the ones I’ve been using.
Hello Henry, You mentioned a video where you talk about how to use the iPad for more then just drawing. I.e. note taking etc. where can I find this? Many Thanks
I think for me it wasn't any of the 5 things you mentioned (those are all excellent benefits, of course!) but rather the rapid iteration and change orders that digital provides. There is too much opportunity cost to making a change to a paper drawing where the entire thing must be copied over to make a single alteration. Digital eliminates this. The most important thing is the ideas, and rapid iteration is all about trying out the most ideas without giving in to the effort vs reward proposition of modifying paper commits. You definitely mentioned this, but I don't think it was one of your five things at the end.

Procreate and Morpholio does the job for me. Concept not needed!
