2. (This is not a joke) I'm deaf and 2 years ago i have set up sign language club in my mainstream school and then I decided to write a letter to prime minister to teach a school a sign language and it actually worked fews school stop teaching french and Spanish

Amazing but they shouldn't have stopped teaching French and Spanish completely. Some days should've been (well French or Spanish), and others should've been sign language. French and Spanish are very common languages and will help you a lot!

Love your video with Lily! I love how much you and Lily are enjoying your day together.
As for learning foreign languages, I agree - we need to make learning the native sign language a priority over foreign languages. It'd be really great if we could be able to communicate with the deaf and deafblind, and be able to bridge the gap between the two worlds.
However, learning foreign languages is also beneficial for you. I had to learn Spanish growing up because it's the second most widely spoken language in the US, and my former Catholic dioceses in NY and in St. Augustine, FL both serve a large Spanish-speaking population. I have traveled to Mexico twice, but I didn't get to use my Spanish skills because the places I went to are tourist destinations so everyone who works in the tourist district had some English skills.
A lot of words in the English language are actually borrowed from other languages. For example, scientists and people in the medical field use words with Latin and Greek roots.
Finally, it'd be helpful to know some basic French because from what I've seen in vlogs on Paris here on RUclips, the signs outside of the train stations (like Gare du Nord) and airports (Charles de Gaulle International Airport) has no English translations. You need to know basic French in order to be able to get around France and order food.

My old primary school had a BSL club where you could learn sign language, and I did it for a bit, as we had a deaf kid in our class. However, I’m not sure why I stopped! I definitely want to start learning BSL after lockdown

Beautiful hearts forever. I love that your step sister knows sign language,that is a great string to her bow. I have seen my little cousins who are hearing and they do it as their mother is deaf and they are brilliant. I guess if you try hard enough you will learn. But it does look impressive .

If people don't develop the technology for this stuff all you do is use your ios device or android device pop up the note feature on any phone is or android devices and if you don't go trough the drive trough because the establishment doesn't have correct technology just pull your phone out and use the note application on your ios or android device

Great video but learning other languages is very important too. You have mentioned 3 holidays places, 2 of them are in Spain, so it's ok if you learn some Spanish, the knowledge is power. I'm a hearing 20 yo from Spain and I'm addicted to your videos and I don't know any deaf people but I wanna learn some sign language, and seeing your videos I learn both english and sign language. (I hope you understood my message, at high school I learned almost nothing of English but a year ago I started learned as a autodidact and every day I try my best because I want to improve my English skills. Love your channel, I wish you the best!

Hello im kate and i was self taught asl at the age of two to five years old even though i am hearing i had a deaf student in my class and my one aunt works with deaf ppl so i am quite fluent but there are a lot of signs i this video im not recognizing. Can u tell my what type of sign u are using?🤔

They need to develop a technology that uses a pos system with a tablet that relays whatever the customer wants in English language or American sign language or vise versa depending on the situation or disability of the person working or the customer just incase they can't go trough the drive trough all the time

The technology doesn't have to just be for deaf people it can also be used for autistic and downsyndrom kids or adults because sometimes technology can distract special needs people from having a complete meltdown and embarrassing there parent's or family

I’m hard of hearing learn some basic sign language when I was younger
