Got mine about a week ago but I opted for a used regular version (Not OLED) so I could homebrew it (took me ages to find an unpatched one). The price of Nintendo games is outrageous. Hope you enjoy!

Good timing for owning a switch now that it has a huge game catalog available. There’s another console coming probably in the next year or two, but Nintendo always have very little games at launch day, so is better to stick to this one.
I was a child with retro game console and never interested in playing mobile game. For me, having physical gamecard is creating satisfying feeling than downloading a game in a mobile device or PC. And it is also nostalgic. Bringing me to the old time playing Super Mario, Super Contra, Bomber Man, and many other.
Im happy for you i hope i can buy it too my dad said maybe we can buy it next month but its so expensive in my country:(

Hi! Thank you from dropping by! Answering your Qs, 1st, it’s very easy to control! You get used to it automatically (I did as a non-gamer), 2nd YES! I enjoy playing games, BUT other games I found people can play on their Phones as well (Pokémon unite). *It is addicting* IF you find a game that suits your interests. I played 30+ games in 4 months. I find myself playing games that developers spent time on (not just bec. it has a franchise.) 1. Luigi’s Mansion⭐️⭐️ 2. Mario Kart Deluxe 8 3. Just Dance 2020-2024 (more fun if you have multiple versions) 4. Animal Crossing

I’m torn with Legend of Zelda (BOTW + Totk) it’s phenomenal, top-tier-- but my mind gets tired playing it, I get overwhelmed by the strategizing and wanting to do well in the game 😂😂. So I don’t play it anymore but my sister is addicted to it.
I regret buying Switch Sports & Super Smash Brothers. Theyre not bad, they’re good if you have lots of people with you.
There are expensive games that aren’t well made and showcases the weakness of the Switch (Lego Harry Potter, Lego The Incredibles) and I haven’t found a 1st person shooter I liked.
For me, it’s worth it for Luigi’s Mansion & Mariokart deluxe alone! Not too crazy about the Switch now, after 4 months, but I reach for it when I’m stressed out or traveling.
Overall, it’s a great device to have around!! But research the games first before diving in. It’s a waste of 💰💰 if you don’t have a game you like in it.
I just got my Nintendo switch oled two days ago I already love it!!! It’s portable and I love that you can play on the tv.I had to get it to retire my switch lite. I love the controller part it came with also I think it’s totally worth it!

I remember unboxing my first switch, hope you had that feeling too. I sold it off though few years back since i was busy in college but now I want to have a switch lite since the original switch is heavy in the hands and i mostly play in bed. Enjoyed your video. Happy Gaming!
I bought my first Switch OLED 2 years ago now? I returned it after realizing how much I HATED the price of the games in Canada :(
tears of the kingdom being like $90 in Canada feels insane, I remember when a new game for my 3DS would cost $35 :(

if you are finding the joycons uncomfortable there are other really good quality ones on the market! (the best ones are the mobapad M6HD, its super comfortable and i love it) cause many people seem to find that the joycons are really small, and they easily get stick drift

Highly recommend getting Zelda Totk, a microsd card, a Switch Pro controller, or a Satisfye Zengrip Ronin. As a big jrpg fan, there are lots of great jrpg games ported to the Switch, so I would also recommend those.

I had that one for my birthday gift last may and the design is very unique. Almost a year and still feels like a brand new console. I been playing in portable mode most of the time

I got it from Gamextreme (Shopee). It’s still amazing even after 6 months. I don’t travel with it a lot and very careful not to drop it. 👍

it’s just rumors, there’s no viable reason to believe there’s a new console coming out. the oled is still worth getting and keeping for the next couple years
@@emmaexperimental yes thats what rumors are. But its whatever, its already bought and they got the money for it so sure.
That still doesnt mean I cant have had suggestions like going the cheaper route because of the uncertainty and if they are only going to use it in hand held mode in which thats the only way they showed it as.
