That’s a Jewish thing right?” 😂 I then told him he was thinking of Hanukkah, & explained to him the origins & traditions of Kwanza (which I only knew about because I read a lot about random things). I loved that job & honestly part of what made it so fun was our diversity. In our one bank branch we had Latino, white, Indian, Pakistani & black employees who were Christian, Muslim & Hindu, gay, lesbian & straight & spoke English, Spanish, Hindu/Urdu amongst us & we all got along so well. It was basically Darlene McBride’s worst nightmare! Lol. Good times.
