6:32 For those who are interested in the topic of polygonal masonry. A number of methods for obtaining the polygonal masonry are proposed. The basis of the proposed methods is the use of clay/gypsum replicas, reduced clay models of stone blocks and a 3D-pantograph, as well as a topography translator. The results are presented in the article: “Fabrication methods of the polygonal masonry of large tightly fitted stone blocks with curved surface interfaces in megalithic structures of Peru” (DOI: 10.20944/preprints202108.0087.v5). Not enough can be said about Machu Picchu. I went this summer and hiked up Huayna Picchu, the mountain that looks over Machu Picchu when you reach the peak. While there. I realized that one day does not allow you to experience ALL of Machu Picchu. If you go, I recommend touring for 2 days to get a more enriching experience. P.S - Videos and photos do not do actually show how beautiful the ancient city is
Exactly, I am Peruvian and I have been several, although I have not yet climbed Huayna Picchu, I am very much in agreement that no video or photo manages to represent the grandeur, beauty and magical sensation that is felt in Macchu Picchu. 🙌🏻✨🇵🇪
I went up in June before the time restrictions were put in place and spent the whole day there. It was clear for me but seeing the clouds through the surrounding mountains is amazing
Hello, I am a fourth grade teacher and we use a reading book in which we find the history of the lost city of the Inca in Cusco Peru. I searched the internet for a video of Machu Picchu and I showed them theirs and my students and I fell in love with this beautiful place I am planning to visit. I congratulate you for such an excellent documentary about Machu Picchu, you are great, greetings from Honduras, I will continue using your documentaries to teach my students. Good job guys!!!!
I still can't get my head around how the inca managed to cut those rocks so perfectly, carry the super slabs and stack them in such a way! I find it extremely impressive!
The Inca didnt cut them , a previous unknown culture built them . Therecwas a worldwide cataclysm approximate 12,000 years ago that wiped an advanced civilization off the planet . Theres hundreds of giant stone megalithic structures throughout the world that cant be explained. Notice all the perfectly shaped giant stonework at this site , then notice the primative small rock stonework built around it or on top of it . The Incas built the primative stone work , not the megalithic perfection.
Agustín Lizárraga, a local Peruvian, rediscovered Machu Picchu -Bingham was who put it in the covers of magazines an Lizárraga guide him. No problem with that, totally respect it... until he tried to erase Lizárraga from archives and committed a felony by stealing precious archeologycal objects that constitute heritage from Inca's culture. He also profanates the ruins. Yale, the partner in crime, still have some of that peruvian artifacts. Some of them were returned in 2010. This doesn't start good...
Hi vagabrother I just started watching your videos and I just wanted to say that I've been wanting to travel but didn't know where to go but now watching your videos I have grown to love your content. I am now wishing to travel around the world. 💗
I am used to your videos being well put together, but this one takes the cake! Beautiful shots, and some really cute natural, unscripted moments! Beats me how you found the drive to film when you could have been just enjoying the view and the vibe up there! Great job!
Don't know if it's been said, but MP was always a unkown place for so many peruvians. Bingham just was a gringo who pay for a local tour but end with the best marketing deal for the entire story.
Thanks for doing this type of videos and vlogs!! Peru is just amazing🇵🇪 and Cusco is magical ✨ I’m very happy that a lot of tourists are amazed with the culture, food and people here in Peru ❤️
I recently discovered you guys through this channel and already in love!!! You guys are so much fun!!! Thank you so much for what you do. This is so inspiring!.. :D
Machu Picchu was originally built by a previous civilization that was lost in time. The Incas were the ones who really discovered it. The Incas re settled it and kept building on it. Machu Picchu was most likely built to survive another universal great flooding but that never happened again. It is mentioned that 50% of Machu PIcchu is composed by terraces and 50% the city itself. However it is known that only 30% of the terraces are visible and the other 70% still buried under the jungle. The terraces were built for two purposes, to hold the city and to cultivate. That ancient civilization wanted to make sure have enough supplies in food to survive isolation. They also made sure what they harvested had a good nutritional quality. Most of the super foods as we know now come from the Andes. Quinoa is one of them (by the way if you ever want to put quinoa in your diet. Make sure this grain was cultivated on high altitude oversea level otherwise it will not have the benefits of its nutrients)....................
Incredible job, per usual guys, I mean I am running out of words of praise here. I suppose all I can say is thank you for showing us these amazing places!
Thank you for continuing to support us, your comments like this keep us creating and inspired, so even if you're running out of words , keep it up haha.
Really looking forward to seeing the VR final cut. Love the progression dudes. Would be great to see a bit of the BTS from the India shoot as well, that must of been hectic!!
You are the best traveling youtubers!!!! I love your videos! I can't believe you came to my beautiful Peru 🇵🇪!!! Please there is more beautiful places and cities in peru you can try visit! I send you all my love.
you did a great job showing Machu Picchu. There are more interesting things to see in Peru all that make you say how did they do that and the food is to die for. Great job guys, I got to virtually visit my birth country.
Amazing film, love the color grade and just really inspiring! We will be going to Peru in May, and we are super excited! Greetings guys! btw do you need a film permit to film in machu picchu?
Curious. What month and day did you travel to Machu Picchu? I’m traveling there November 27-Dec 1 and I want to know the weather so I could dress accordingly.

people usually dont care about that really 75% of people go for the selfies.

Hiram Bingham III was not alone. He traveled with another Peruvian man who was well read, and no mention of him and his assistance in the discovery.
Bingham was a thief.
I'll be there in 5 days.... I can't wait!!!!! Thank you for the amazing content Vagabrothers! Lots of love from Costa Rica
Disfruta Majo!!! PURA VIDA

Hiram bingham didnt discover it, it was actyally Agustín Lizárraga who first went to machu picchu in 1894 but hiram took the credit
Ellos mencionaron que el REdescubrió Machu Pichu.
