I love how this is pretty much the opposite of "It’s going down now". That track is meant to make you feel like you take on any form of challenge without any fear or hesitation thanks to its upbeat theme and cheerful lyrics. "Don’t", however, does a COMPLETE 180. It has a melody that makes you feel a sense of dread and unease, like something is very wrong combined with the fact that the lyrics themselves mention fear, hesitation and confusion/desperation. It’s a perfect way to help us feel the endless void that has formed within the members of SEES following the loss of their beloved friend and ally
It's also the perfect dark progression from "Memories of You" which held so much positivity and general cherishment of life now when the truth of his actual well being come to them that sentiment completely gets shut down.
That's why Persona songs are so beautiful. They hold very clear messaging that you can understand if you take the time to analyze the lyrics. On that note I find the song's chorus (the part that starts with "lost my keys") especially melancholy because it's implying that the SEES members don't care if they die since they already lost someone that was an irreplaceable part of their lives.
And yet despite the mentions of fear, hesitation and all, like all Persona battle themes, the lyrics still imply she has zero doubt that she WILL win the fight.
2024 is Ryota Kozuka’s year. P5X OP, SMT VV, this. If he sound directs P6 with this sort of dark city pop/funk/EDM thing he’s got going on, it could be incredible.
I recognized it was Kozuka as soon as I heard the guitars in the back at 0:11. "Oh wow that sounds like SMTV" was my first thought watching the trailer.
@@daiyahigashikata I don't think Kitajoh has done anything I'd call straight up very bad, but he has had very low lows with stuff like his 4 Arena / Arena Ultimax music that just sounds extremely generic, but not really awful. I think he has extremely high highs on Q2 and Strikers, though. That being said, I do feel like Kozuka is a LOT more willing to experiment with his sound than Kitajoh, who usually plays it super safe, so something with him as the lead sound director would be interesting.

Aigis finally understood what Makoto and the rest of SEES have told and shown her right up to Makoto’s last moments alive on the school rooftop with a peaceful smile on his face. At the very least, Aigis will always have a piece of Makoto with her at all times with the ending of her social link confirming he touched her heart (quite LITERALLY) and Aigis inherited his Wild Card abilities, so it’s like Makoto living on in Aigis in a bittersweet way.

That must’ve been so hard on Aigis who took over Makoto’s position as leader at the time and must’ve been thinking to herself that the way everyone is acting, is what *MAKOTO* would’ve NEVER wanted them to do. And yes, while Reload was more inspired by the movies in some aspects there could’ve been room for more references to the movies so people who saw them would get a kick of seeing moments from the movie again, just officially in the game.

Despite that, the song also demonstrates that they aren’t willing to let up, continuing to fight even if they’re losing sight of what they want.
I love how this lyrics can be interpreted as yes, Aigis' emotional state, but also as Yukari's. I like to see it this way because it highlights more and more how they are two sides of the same coin.
One of the main things that i love about the answer is that fighting shadows to sees now is just a means to an end, they could not give more of a fuck about some tables or spinning cubes

I love how this lyrics can be interpreted as yes, Aigis' emotional state, but also as Yukari's. I like to see it this way because it highlights more and more how they are two sides of the same coin.
It just depresses me so much that Yukari's Persona is literally Isis but it's impossible for her to fulfill that prophecy... and she loses her key 😢
