This is an alternate version, there’s 2 versions, one is of what I assume is like a formal playing of the song whereas this one is how it’d actually sound played in battle.
Funny thing is, the Chinese have inflicted far more brutality and killed far more Chinese than the Japanese could possibly hope to match (Ex. Great leap forward, all of the civil wars and more). Honestly to Asians war has always been a brutal business, whats past is past. So as a Chinese I forgive you.
I thought this song was in reference to how the Nationalists would attack Japanese positions at Night time in order to negate the effectiveness of Japanese weapons such as seen at the Battle of Luodian.

I am an Indian I fully support one china policy and Taiwan as part of it but Republic Of China as the legitimate government am I dissapointed how world powers fear to recognize the real china aka ROC

看来没有知道关于这歌的真正来历啊，这首歌的曲调是改编自抗日歌曲《巷战歌》，而巧的是《巷战歌》的词作者是方之中--他是新中国的开国少将🤣
本人上Google 網查了「巷戰歌」，這首抗戰時期的軍歌只是曲調有點類似「夜襲」，和「夜襲」是截然不同的兩首軍歌。「夜襲」應該是民國六十年（1970）以後在台灣新創作的軍歌，不可把「巷戰歌」和「夜襲」混為一談，黑白不分。
