The Storm Is Passing Over ( Rev. Timothy Flemming)

- Here is the young twenty-one year old Timothy Flemming Sr. masterpiece, that has never been recorded or released. This is a selection that was done in a small wooden church in a rural community where he pastored. You can hear then how powerful his voice was as he would pace the floor singing with no need of a microphone, with a down home piano and congregation.
This is actually the very first recording of Rev. Flemming and we are proud to share it with you. Mt Carmel Baptist Church is also posting this song because we get so many requests for it from his Old Time Camp Meeting Songs Volume 1, where he performs this song through his present congregation. But this is the first time that this version has ever been heard or released. We know you will like to hear him at such a young age.

Mama taught me about the Bible ,but i lived life my way, down a dark and lonely hwy,Jesus met me on my way,now I sit and read my Bible,i kneel down and pray,I still need that old o time revival in that old o, o fashion way, down at the river, muddy water washed my SINS AWAY.
This is old school church Devotion. We need more of this in church services today. This is one of my grandma’s favorite hymns.
I WAS THERE WHEN HE RECORD THIS AN WE HAD A HOLY GHOST GOOD TIME.
I KNOW THE SPIRIT WAS IN THAT PLACE!!! :)
I wish the churches today would bring this rhythm back. So powerful
you know songs of this nature are birthed out heartache and pain, also stress. If we were to sing songs to this nature in our services today in the black church then we would be better off. As a people
I thank God that I came up during these times. Firm foundation in my faith. Thank you Jesus!
No other music on earth has the power of old time Gospel Music. This music touches the soul!! The Power of God!

Man when I hear this I get chills ...It just has so much strength
Walking and talking ... lifting up JESUS! Glory to God ... the Storm IS passing ... one day we'll be with the one who died to give us eternal life!
That song rings more true today than any other time. Because, we are in a storm. But, the good news is, the storm is passing over. Thank you Jesus
