Every new person that enters crypto that I speak to, hates Ethereum. That's been going on for the past 4yrs. I find it hard to believe that Ethereum will do anything but go backwards? Why would anyone want to use it when you never know what price you'll be hit for anything you do on Ethereum...
Corps are choosing ethereum for settlement layer. What retail thinks because of ethereums centralization doesn't matter.
@@darkveil5821 Exactly, Ethereum has never given a shit about the every day person. I saw that when they destroyed the GPU mining industry and only allowed people with 32 ETH to stake. Which is why I don't hold it or use it. They might as well be bankers...
It was the worst last bullmarket. I got on relatively early on but was a noob and sold eth because of greed, then got locked inside it when it went to 4k, frustrating but learned alot.
Ethereum is deflationary and gives yield! Do you understand what that means? Investors want that. They don't care if it is slower or more expensive to transact. When you invest you don't do a 1000 transactions. But if you do want to do a lot of transactions, there are Layer 2 (Polygo, Optimism, Arbitrum, etc.) solutions on Ethereum that can match Solana's speed, and will be more inexpensive than Ethereum. Solana is fast and the fees are low, but the inflation is high, and the stakers are centralized. FTX still has a lot of Solana in their bags. Solana has also been prone to shutdowns. Retirement funds would prefer the security and tokenomics of Ethereum over that of Solana.

I didn't say anything about Solana but since you mention it. I've not only made 20x my money on Solana in the last couple of runs but I also earn 7% staking it and can unstake and sell within 3 days, at any time, for no charge. My Ethereum is to expensive to do anything with. So, it just sits there unless I want to flip it into things like ARB, Beam, Sei and whatever else is better than Ethereum. So, you keep following your dead coin. I'm after something better, like Solana and others. Even Tron is better than Ethereum...Do you understand why that would be?

I think a new player, MainnetZ will be a game changer. A layer 1 generation 3, hybrid blockchain. It has scalable transactions of 2090 TPS and finalized in 3 seconds. What also impressed me was the 40% incentive that goes back to builders of projects from the super cheaper than Polygon gas fees.

Some wisdom for you guys - If the project has a ceo or a similar group - its not decentralized and not required.
Bitcoin is the only one without any of that.

I don't know what happened to my original comment, but if you happen to know anyone at Blockv, can you ask about the low liquidity on the dexs? Based on their announcement and more press, the team should have been more prepared do have sufficient liquidity so people can trade it.

To say that digital currency isn't centrally controlled is a delusion. Any government can tell their cyber division to enforce any regulation over data transactions as they see fit. Bitcoin can be shut down locally, provincially, inter-continentally or globally. Host tables are maintained by ICANN. But no government has any fealty to it in reality.

Visa and Paxos will move stable coins over the Solana network using USDC and USDP running parallel to the SOL coin, but, shouldn't Solana transaction fees siphon some of the value of the Stable coins over to the market cap of Sol? Serious question. I do realize half of the Solana fees are burned. But the other half should affect SOL market cap if it accrues to a SOL holder of some kind. Yes?
The issue with sol is that it isn't actual as fast as they make out.. maybe they will improve that..

Because of the congestion fee. I can't even stake Block Vee because of it. If it was Avax, Solana, HBAR or almost anything else it would not be an issue.

If this is a L1 token then forget it. You''ll end up paying $40 in gas just to claim a 20¢ reward.
The only way I would touch any L1 is on a centralized exchange where the fees are as close to zero as possible, otherwise it's just pointless, unless you're a whale with millions.

Don’t hate ETH or SOL just make money!
Solana is still too centralized. They still have the same points of vulnerability that caused the chain to shut down before. The small band aides they implemented didn't solve the overall problem. Also, it makes it easier for the majority coin holders to dump on the rest of the market. Ethereum is slow and costly because they are careful with their solutions. You haven't witnessed multiple failures like you have with Solana and you probably never will. Devs, buyers and CEOs beware. Do your due diligence.
