I purchased an kislux bag in 2022, and I can confirm that it is very high quality. The owners were very nice, too! I may purchase another bag from them the next time!
I am learning so much. Thank you! I have some vintage Coach ( pre numbers/creed) from my mother and grandmother, and while seeking information about them, I am learning so much!
Love the color of the leather of it. I think it's perfectly ok to like something that is "a replica". Especially when the real deal is difficult to find. It can at least be a place holder until the real one comes around.
I received a fake Trail Bag in a lot of bags I bought from eBay. I use it daily. I won't resell a fake bag but I love the style so I kept it for myself. I hate to throw stuff away.
I didn’t buy a counterfeit, but I did purchase a decent looking bag recently from Walmart that reminds me SO much of the Soho. It was offered in green, black, red/brown and a “leather”/cloth black version. I typically don’t like the look of plastic bags, but the solid black version with gold toned hardware was very nice looking at a very inexpensive price. So…no shame in buying what you like and what looks good to you!
You mentioned the counterfeit websites....a while back, I actually reported one of these fake coach sites to Coach, they emailed me back, and I got it SHUT DOWN!
I purchased a counterfeit coach Sonoma bag once (didn't know)...it was plum colored nubuck leather. I didn't want to carry it when I have so many other authentic bags, but I felt the same about not wanting it to go to a landfill.....so I sent it to the thrift store (someone might find it and absolutely love it)..but before I did, I wrote "Not authentic" on the inside creed with a sharpie.
I saw a supposed vintage coach (turn lock era) and I immediately knew it was a fake because of the lining. I cannot find videos on fake vs real lining - help us. I have vintage coaches from the coach store and they all have leather inside nubby and smooth. The only difference thing old coach I had with lining was a makeup case. Anyway - please do a lining tutorial!
@@TheCaseymac2 there are many different vintage Coach lines they have lining actually. One of my personal favorites being the Sonoma line which I talk about a lot. Bonnie Cashin even lined many bags in the 70’s! So don’t count out lining. The lining should be correct (which many times is not in counterfeits) for the bag which is just another level to authenticating a Vintage Coach Bag.
Hi Michelle, I purchased a vintage coach rambler; the creed is on the zipper flap and does not come out of the bag. However, on the back of the flap on the back if the creed
Yes the color of the *HOTDUPS* is beautiful, it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store things like gloves, beanies, scarves, etc.
I'm shook! because at first glance, especially the BEFORE picture, I would have bet money it was a genuine COACH. What I don't understand is what is the profit margin in counterfeiting vintage Coach?, as even the most expensive of them are somewhat accessible, even if you have to save up. Currently on Amazon, Temu et al there is contemporary counterfeit COACH, but the fact that someone would take the time counterfeit, vintage is beyond me. Still, the bag you have is nice and workable, in and of itself. I wouldn't cover up the CREED, that egregious spelling mistake is what makes that bag special, lol
@@spacetimecontinuum I think it is a ‘Vintage’ Counterfeit being that it itself is at least 20 years old so was counterfeited during modern times but with the rising popularity of Vintage Coach, I wouldn’t be surprised if new makes Counterfeit Vintage shows up.

I’m not upset that you bought a bag you knew was counterfeit. You bought a bag with your money that you knew you were going to enjoy. I accidentally sent my question without completing! My vintage coach rambler has the creed on the outside compartment and looks authentic. However on the inside of the zippered compartment, it looks to be stamped in ink, 201 and some type of symbol, and then 6 and then 22 and after that 3 dots in the form of a triangle. Do u know what this means, Michelle? Did I purchase a fake? Thank you so much for any input u may have! Anita

I feel like you're a video interesting, and i'm not mad it's a fake.. My first (coach )bag was when I was 20. I went to new york city and where they sell the counterfeits before I knew why they sell counterfeits for, I bought one and I was in love and I knew when I was going to make let's not making money in my career that I was going to purchase my first coach and I did and I still have it. I wore that counterfeit out! I'm not mad at it.I'm not mad at people who purchase counterfeit.Even if they always do, because they have no intention of purchasing the real thing anyway... I would tell someone to be mindful of who you're buying from, that way you're not funding something that's not good.
You are looking at it like it's a nice leather bag it's not a Coach. No shame. The fake Willis bags I got made me mad. I was so freaking exasperated because of eBay letting that seller get away with it even though I could prove it was counterfeit because it was over the 30 days so cut my nose off to spite my face and I will not use it I gave it to my sister to use. She thinks I'm stupid because it's a nice leather bag but I said it would be like buying a diamond and then finding out it's a CZ. She kind of understood But then the other which was a really pretty navy blue Willis I gave it to my daughter under this stipulation that she not sell it. She's in college and they have an on selling group. I told her when she no longer wants to carry it bring it home it'll go back in my closet. I'll figure out how to get rid of the Coach creed.
Interesting. I noticed a fake Willis bag listed on Mercari, so added a note for the seller it was fake due to the serial number beginning with W72. Instead of doing the right thing and not selling it, the seller had Mercari hide my comment by marking it " under review" and then they sold it anyway. It is truly a " Buyer beware" because the reseller sites are pro resellers.
Such GREAT comparisons! Allllll soooo lovely! Especially the COPYMAXY tote. Their styles are so chic, sleek, elegant and understated!
