Awesome Super SD in Mexico City, Mexico. Got the American Nightmare in the finals, but the other Quarter-finals was definitely a shocker. I had Drew McIntyre favored, but I learned the hard way not to bet against the Mad Dragon. I see Cody advancing to represent SD, but Dragunov is definitely the Dark Horse, heading into KOTR PLE. This SD Semi is more of a toss-up than I originally thought.
For the Women's World title picture, Iyo Sky definitely learned from Asuka not to take anybody for granted. Roxy may have came up short, but the future is definitely for the Prodigy. I can see her continuing her pursuit for the title, heading into the Summertime, maybe in the MITB ladder match. As for the other women's match, Raquel and Shotzi definitely delivered in Mexico City Street Fight. Shotzi brought the extreme, especially with the door lol. Then, Raquel brought out the chanclas, which I believe you were trying to say. I bet that she made the first lady of the LWO, Zelina Vega proud. Also, loved the comment that you made bout Raquel having a couple of tequilas after Shotzi put her through the door lol. Tremendous outing for Raquel, heading into KOTR with her 1st title defense against a former rival in Iyo Sky. I can't see Raquel losing her title after just winning it. Lastly, we finally see the return of Shayna Baszler. It wouldn't surprise me if she takes the path that Rhea took, starting from the bottom like Rhea did and working back up to the title picture even if she gets a little help from Zoey Stark, or she could declare her intentions in the MITB ladder match. Either way, the Queen of Spades is back in town.
The brawl between Lashley and Gunther was unexpected, but it definitely hyped up their upcoming match at KOTR. Then, Randy Orton came outta nowhere with the RKOs. I can definitely see Orton either slithering his way into the WHC at KOTR or settling the score with Lashley depending on the outcome of the WHC match. Either way, Randy Orton will definitely be involved in the hunt.
As for the main event, a very successful homecoming for the LWO and paying homage to the late great Eddie Guerrero. Viva la Raza😎
