When transforming into a ball a body melting acid spreads all over your body and melting it except the brain it takes only a second to disintegrate your body, transforming back is simple the acid gets removed and a chemical spreads over the suit reviving all the dead cells and tissues that stucked to the suit

The morph ball, all joking aside, would possibly be the most comfortable thing ever, since to compact the user down, it basically shifts the user's body to a linked dimension in stasis. This means that Samus could, theoretically, get a lot of rest in this mode.
Here I thought Samus was going in a full body swimsuit like the ones scuba divers wear. I definitely wasn't expecting that. Well played Samus. 👏
