Women's issue is just made up there I wish we could appreciate same media's in India. But they're lack balls to take interviews here..
The appointment of Abdul Balkhi as spokesperson of Taliban shows that Taliban is on the upward learning curve as far as international diplomacy is concerned and have certainly learning the art of it when you compare its last regime in Afghanistan.
People can be educated and you can still be a jihadi.
Osama bin Laden, Hafeez and many people from different terrorists groups are educated and use their educational knowledge for terrorism and these type of people are more difficult to deal with than normal terrorists.
He lived his all life in Europe countries, he came because of money,Taliban appointed him to use his knowledge to prove as they are good , because Taliban trying to be recognised by World's country as the official govt, what he is saying is not true, the other Talib members are completely non-educated .
@@abdurahimrahim117 I can't agree more with you. But in your reply lies the answer. Now they have become sensitive to what World thinks of them as they know their interest lies in the same. But of course world - and we are part of the same - not going to be fooled by their words, isn't it😊😊

But do you love the authoritarian government? Do the people of Afghanistan? Nope
Great ground reporting work with straightforward questions addressing the issue, big kudos to jyoti and her team (the print).
Hi Satyam,
Glad you enjoyed watching this interview.
Do keep writing in.
I think the fact that Jyothi Malhotra is conducting the interview, pressing the Taliban government on women's rights to education and calling them out ... is such an incredible political statement in itself
The whole world is doing it. Most journalists have questioned various Taliban leaders like Barkhi, the Haqqani Bros etc about the treatment of women. Nothing special.

Great interview by the print and kudos to Jyoti Malhotra for asking pertinent n’ pointed questions on India - Afghanistan ties/ girls education. As also to the afghan spokesperson for answering them !
this well educated man truly knows his words!!!
wow, I am soooooooo so so impressed by how précised, articulated and intelligent he is.
It is only right and proper that nations who believe and have undergone in the struggle of building their respective nations must support the Taliban in building their nation.
Agree! Talibans has learned. They don't even mentioned Talibans on their interviews but Afghan government instead. the right way though.

@@aadityakiran_s subjugation is different from defeat. Afghans were defeated many times by Sikhs, Brits, Soviets, yankies but never subjugated. How polite and how honoured respectful conversation.
Bravo, Jyoti! Very nice interview..good to see you reporting from Kabul.
High quality of diplomacy

Wishing them all the best
Abdul qahar balkhi earned my respect, he is an afghan first and speaks for afghanisthan and not islam unlike our neighbour. After this I feel like Taliban establishment is more matured and articulate than Pakistani army establishment.
You got it all wrong and twisted. For each true Muslim globally and every single Talib, Islam comes before anything and everything. Their entire state has been established solely on the basis of Islam and their war and struggles were on the basis of Islam. What gives them the opening to represent Afghanistan officially now as a Nation is because Islam has taken over it end to end. God bless you.

Mad respect to Jyoti. 🙌🙌🙌
Abdul Balkhi has so much grace & manners. He could've gave taunting answers but he refrained. Upon asking why afghans are leaving, he could've said why there's such a huge quantity of NRIs. Yellow propaganda journalism.
It's great to see that Jyoti is nailing the questions with Taliban spokesman.
Seems like she never pulled a punch ..
Good for journalism ,,,,👏
I really appreciate Ma'am asking hard questions to Taliban government. On the other hand, this representative of Taliban government looks reasonable and giving sensible answer. I hope afganistan become a progressive country once more. I have met few afganistan people in Delhi. They are quite nice person.
Ok I was extremely surprised at the refined elegance of Mr Balkhi. I wasnt expecting anyone from Taliban to be so eloquent and that too in english. The spokesman was super professional, very polite, he didnt sidestep any question, didnt wander off topic, didnt give any lectures. I was particularly impressed with his answer to the question why are so many afghans leaving afghanistan? His answered brilliantly when he said that this is not just an Afghan issue but an issue with all countries in the region. And that is so true, so many Indians, Pakistanis, Bangladeshis have left their country seeking greener pastures.
He is very respectful spokesperson+ HE IS VERY HANDSOME 😄

Wonderful interview, Balkhi did awesome and Ms Jyoti .
Mr. Balkhi is a great Ambassador for Afghanistan. Ms. Malhotra did an excellent job of asking serious question in a soft tone so as not to rile the Taliban chiefs.
Whilst Mr. Balkhi is urging all Afghanis to return to Afghanistan to help rebuild the country, his own family - brothers and parents are still living in New Zealand where he grew up.
