I don't normally share comments publicly as i am more of a one to one conversationalist, but for someone who has gained great comfort and entertainment from these discussions every week i wanted to at least drop by and say thank you fellas for being here every Sunday. And Rick.......without you the shows may not be quite as long so you keep jumping in with extra words of wisdom whenever you feel the need. PS5 Pro......i have only recently added Playstation to my regular gaming platforms, and my "Amateur" PS5 (sorry Rick, had to borrow this) feels like such a huge upgrade that a Pro, for me personally, will not make enough of a difference to justify the cost. This said though, i can certainly appreciate all sides of this conversation.
"My expectations were low, and they were met" - Ains from Seasoned Gaming, where "seasoned" is referring to the ability to set appropriate expectations in order to achieve such expectations 😂 Great installment to the show fellas, as always 👌
Hahaha - hey, in life expectations are everything. Anyone expecting a next-gen improvement from the Pro would be silly. I got my same Performance mode but with a noticeably sharper image. That's a win to me!
@SeasonedGaming I totally agree, like usual, you've got the sain and level headed aproach. But we're going to need you to crank that up and have insanely irresponsible expectations when hear WoW is going to console, or when Xbox reveals their handheld, or switch 2 gets revealed, or NaughtyDog shows off their new IP for the first time and simultaneously gives it a release date within 6 months of the reveal 🤣🤣
@@Mmachine88 LMAO! Speaking of which, remember that the Xbox Handheld was getting announced soon? Now Phil says they're looking at it but it's years away. hahaha
Been subbed for a while but not sure if I've commented before - just wanted to say i always enjoy the podcast! In terms of Veilguard I align exactly with what Ains said. The game has just clicked for me- combat is fun, exploration is always rewarding and doesn't ever feel bloated, the lore reveals are fantastic and I'm starting to really care for the characters. I like all the DA games and this might be my second favorite behind Origins. Can't wait to play more of it. Looking forward to hearing everyone's updated thoughts next week.
Heyyyy. Thank you for the nice comment and for hanging with us every week. And yeah (Ains here) I've still been rolling on the Veilguard train. I think I'm at 52-53 hours as of this writing. It's just very enjoyable to me - you described it well.
Yeah Hoeg is really annoying with that shit. The show flows better when he's not there. I also think his lawyer brain gets in the way sometimes when they're discussing topics, because it seems like he has to win the topic.

somehow that AI has some kind of "giga-chad hoeg" mod in it lol
Right!? lmao
It seems like the Pro is a resolution increase but no performance improvements. Maybe Sony can uncap the frame rate on them PS4 games
Yeah it's going to be a mixed bag of what to expect for the foreseeable future.
HOEG!!! Good for you, sir 💪
"I want to talk about this thing"
Hoeg - "just before you do....."

Jesus Hoeg, shut up

Sorry.
The long-winded answers/rants are endearing lol
@@pherron7471 nah man I like hearing Hoeg's opinions he balances the cast.
You did nothing wrong to apologize for
