Correction: Angelina was at least 9 or more likely 10 in the second clip. Thanks to the fans who spotted the error..
The second clip was broadcasted May 17th 2016, and that would put Angelina at 10 yrs 5 months old. It doesn't really matter much.

Nice varius patchwork Chris, there was briefly on Mery's TikTok (I think) a little video in which Angie was rehearsing or recording that version of Unchained in the studio in LA and in which her grandmother was sitting on the side crying... I think they were recording a demo probably to send to the Kork orchestra to reduce the time for studio rehearsals in Oslo.

Nice video clips Chris! I was wondering, for the second clip, wasn't she 10 years old and not 8 when Angelina was interviewed by Dorthe Skappel? Remember the video of how Angelina showed Dorthe how to warm up to sing? That video states that she was 10. Also, on TV2.no own website, it says that Angelina was 10 as well in that video. They are wearing the same clothes and hairstyle in your video as well as in the other. Nice to have the translations to understand what is being said!

Thanks Chris. I love hearing the bts chat. It is so enlightening to see the work that goes into creating art. That is how perfection is achieved bit by bit. The comment that she had a hand in the artwork for her book was a revelation. Now that would be a video that I would love to see: Angelina filming Mery painting or joining in. Mery has chronicled AJ's growth so much over the years, encouraging her. But Mery remains an enigma that I would love to know more about. Maybe Sara will tell us more one day about AJ, Mery and herself and her brother Michael. What a wonderful family.❤
I totally agree with all you have written here Robert. Mery really is an enigma and I’ve been fascinated with her ever since Steinar had given me some Norwegian back story regarding “Mellom to Hjerter.”
I heard a rumor about a year ago that Sarah was in the process of writing a book about Angelina’s career journey. I think I’d be first in line to get a copy of that book.
This is so cool! And thanks Steinar. Your translation assistance is always appreciated. For those of us who speak only one language I find it fascinating to switch languages instantaneously… often in mid sentence. I suppose that is normal, especially for those who use two (or more) languages daily. Angelina does this often and it’s pretty cool.

This is AJ , grandma Mery, sharing behind the scenes AJ taking control, dealing with camera people beautifully but I suspect what was on her mind was the ending of the song.
