Community Radio Program for Group to Group Communication in Avalanche Terrain
The backcountry in the Pacific Northwest is seeing great user density which is increasing the likelihood of an avalanche triggered by one group burying another group. In co-operation with NWAC, SPART is promoting the use of common group monitoring radio channels for groups to use to coordinate safer travel in avalanche terrain.
