This video is sooooo real. I remember being SO aware of the cycle of life and how everything always comes back around in some way, and I used to constantly wonder why everyone was pretending all the time, which lead me to have not many friends + be deemed weird and overthinking all the time. Nowadays I know it’s actually a good thing and that the way I think is a good thing. Love you thank you so much for sharing this video ❤

oh my god, i feel like i’m seeing myself in you. growing up, i always challenged authority, and it definitely got me in trouble. i couldn’t accept everything adults said at face value, i was always questioning, always pushing back. i remember the first time i had a real debate with a teacher when i was eight. it was during religion class (in the middle east where i’m from, religious education is mandatory), and i told my teacher that the devil wasn’t real, and that people used him as a scapegoat to justify bad actions. i said that the ideas of heaven and hell didn’t really make sense to me either. i saw them more symbolically, like doing good things brings inner peace, while bad actions bring consequences and bad karma. of course, i said it much simpler with a vocabulary of an 8 year old, but i remember getting into so much trouble for it. my classmates were stunned that i could even think such things, since it contradicted everything we’d been taught.
like i said in the comment section of your last video, i don’t agree with organized religion. i believe that it’s moved far away from the original message of christianity. if jesus were here today and saw how his followers act, i think he’d be deeply disappointed. the way they idolize him while living in a way that completely contradicts his teachings, he’d be ashamed. i struggle to identify as a “christian” in today’s society, especially in europe where i’m settling down, where belief in god is often looked down on, as if it’s something inferior or even unintelligent. people don’t realize that many of the greatest philosophers and scientists were believers. it’s fine if you don’t believe in god, but looking down on those who do, with that sense of moral superiority, really bothers me. and i don’t understand how some people can’t sense that there’s something bigger than us. it’s like believing humans are the only creatures in the universe, unwilling to consider the possibility of life beyond earth. the universe is vast, and we’ve barely scratched the surface. how can we not think there’s something bigger than us?
i also want to mention that i’m deeply spiritual, with beliefs rooted in buddhism, but also influenced by the true teachings of christ, not modern-day organized christianity. as you’ve pointed out, people often dismiss us as “living in la-la land,” but they don’t understand how much more in tune we are with ourselves and our souls. buddhism, for example, teaches you to stay grounded, aware of your body and mind in the present moment. what’s ironic is that the people who criticize us are often the most disconnected from themselves; they are miserable, overworked, and relying on substances just to get by. they’re constantly exhausted, stuck in jobs they hate, and still trapped in a system that thrives on their labor and unhappiness. they spend 11 out of 12 months of the year miserable looking forward to that one month off, and yet we’re the ones who are laughed at? it’s heartbreaking. i try to offer guidance, but they don’t listen. i get that everyone has their own journey, and all i can do is hope they find their way. no matter what, though, i always send love and light their way.
sorry for the long rant, but thank you for making me feel understood, saoirse. your videos are such a comfort, and i’m grateful for you being exactly who you are. thank you for speaking up for those of us who feel the same. also looking forward for more of your art. much love to you❤️

beautiful souls are shaped by ugly experiences, you are such a comfort.
I agree that consciousness has to be found to believe, like a gift from the universe, letting you into a type of philosophy where life and existence isn’t so hard.
our social construct has made it so hard to be hopeful or to believe in anything anymore, it’s like it’s slowly killing our passion
    love u sm 🤍
