I don't know what everyone else is talking about, this worked great for me! The instructions weren't that clear, but he repeated them several times, and he even drew lines on the model to show us where to fold. Maybe it was easier for him because he was using a bigger, paper dollar, but it was still good. Thanks for this video!
Love this origami model, it's a real eye catcher and conversation starter. Directions were clear, and not rushed, which is nice, because it's origami! I have made this model for years now and added a few improvments; 1 or 3 point landing gear, and a reshape on the horizontal stabilizers. 10/10 Tutorial. Thanks.
This tutorial is so great and super helpful! I LOVED and was so THANKFUL how you explained every detail so clearly. The markings helped a lot! This was my first time trying it and I nailed it perfectly because of your instructions! I am gifting this plane to my Father; who, loves planes and I know he will be blown away! Thank you.
Thank you so much. .I just made it and it looks awesome! Now to make it with a $20 for a 5 year old little boy stuck in the hospital with Leukemia. I know he will love the distraction, the money and the plane. Thank you for such clear directions!
thanks for the video, this is the best that can be made from money, very accessible all showed,I even not knowing the language,as from Moscow,I understood everything, thank you again
@reymatt76 Thanks for the comment, but don't count yourself out! Come back again after a couple weeks and try again. Sometimes it takes some time before things click.
aw man, this is awesome. thank you! can't wait to try this tomorrow! lol i watched like 7 mins of it, i couldn't stop watching..then i snapped out of it and decided it was a good enough video for me to fallow so i hope i actually go through with making one of these tomorrow. again. Thank you! :]
Well I can't say my F-18 was as nice as yours but I am extremely satisfied with the way it turned out. :) Thanks for the tutorial!! (btw I also really love both tank designs!!!!) I am planning on doing a stop motion war with these. xD
Too bad they don't fly. I'd make me a squadron of jet fighters and take out some bad guys! This video is awesome. Sorry for the jerks that use the internet forum to voice the idiocracy they'd get pounded for in real-life.
Thanks so much for this tutorial! Our Tooth Fairy brings origami dollars, and my son finally lost a tooth. She had no problems following it, and appreciates your time :D
+jaron ferrara Lol... No son lost a tooth fairy princess aka the mother 'SHE" made the airplane and her son appreciate it very much..! But that comment even though you already k were everything I just told you still cracked me up..Lol.
Really wish you would use a real dollar bill the entire time. I have to follow the bill itself and once you turned it over, confusion set it. Yes, I know it would be smaller but easier for some of us.
Thank you I personally would have to say this is one of the best tutorials I have ever used in dollargami and to and the comment about wasting twenty minutes made me chuckle he must have been fast forwarding through the video since it was 27 minutes long .....So how about a tutorial on the Won Park koy fish.....Once again nice job and thanks for taking the time...
@thebigbluevan, thanks for the concern, it was a VERY clear tutorial but when it came to the wing folding step at 20:00, I tried to watch several times but still couldn't figure it out. I'm not sure what you could to fix that though. Thanks :)
I think I was doing good all the way up the 18' mark and then it all went to hell on me. I have no idea what happened but I was folding 3 planes at a time and they are all messed up so I must have done the same thing wrong on all them. Thanks for posting these instructions though. I'll have to see if I can try it again or find something else to help.
Great effort, but as the other commenters have pointed out, the explanations are not very clear. I paused and played, then rewind and do it again just to make sure I have it right. Most of the time I had to rely on what it looks like, rather than anything you said, because it's so confusing. By the time I got to 19mins, everything on mine was so different that I could no longer compare with yours. It was a great idea to use the larger money so that we can see better, but its not helpful for us to see the blank paper when you are folding. We need to know what the other side should look like too.
@TheBatmansbitch Even though origami is a step-by-step process, it's still an art and takes a lot of practice to perfect. Keep at it but try other models before coming back to one that gives you trouble. Like anything worthwhile, origami takes patience and persistence, but also gives you great rewards for your efforts! Keep folding!
This is awesome - thank you for sharing :) I think all the little (and some big) boys in my life that get a cash gift will be getting one of these from now on. lol.
This is so, so much harder than it looks. I'm over here sweating over these tiny ass folds. But it's so rewarding.
Then get a bigger paper times the length and width of the money by 2 onto a blank paper

You're a really good instructor - everything was so clear and you took your time explaining this complex folding project -thank you!
I have this saved in one of my playlist for over 8 years now
This is awesome! Great instructions. It's not complicated at all. Unlike most people, I don't get frustrated. So thanks!
You lost me in the turn, Maverick.
everybody shut up, damn, this guy was nice enough to us this cool stuff to show off ourselves, not to argue. Grow up.

Dude.
VERY good tutorial!!! I tried this one before and failed-a different video-you talking us through it really made it easier. Thank you.
Not sure how you can explain better than that. I made one with ease watching your video. Super awesome!!! Thank you!!!
If I didn't pay attention I would of been watching you fold for half an hour.
This is a masterpiece! you're a genius! thanks.
Thank you so much. .I just made it and it looks awesome! Now to make it with a $20 for a 5 year old little boy stuck in the hospital with Leukemia. I know he will love the distraction, the money and the plane. Thank you for such clear directions!
I hope the little boy recovered.
This was really helpful you did a good job! The drawing of the folds helps alot also so keep up the good work!
That was hard but really cool how the finished project is
This is the first origami I’ve ever made! Turned out super cool thank you :D
Not the only one who first thought of it as a Mig-29!
thanks for the video, this is the best that can be made from money, very accessible all showed,I even not knowing the language,as from Moscow,I understood everything, thank you again
That looks more like a Mig 29 with those wings.... Either way very cool.
20mins in and I give up :( But hey I made a dollar snowball :0
@reymatt76 Thanks for the comment, but don't count yourself out! Come back again after a couple weeks and try again. Sometimes it takes some time before things click.
@TheJTSniper98 What is the confusing part? Let me know, maybe I can clear things up.
Took me an hour (maybe longer) but I finally did it!! Thanks!!
I thought it was a piece of cake!! I had fun making it, if I could upload a picture I would! Great instructions, they were ideal for me :)
@epicookies123 No, this model requires a rectangle. I guess you could fold the square into a rectangle first . . .
Great explanation. Thanks you made that easy.
Awesome jet plane partner
@thebigbluevan If a part seems confusing, keep watching. I usually explain a step several times.
mine didn't turn out as good as yours but it was still pretty awesome, thank you :)
i have made three, thus is a great money making process and a very instructional video, Thanks!
NO NEED TO PAY 30 MILLION DOLLARS FOR A F-18 KNOW,JUST A DOLLAR!THANK YOU!!!Now I shall fly my F-18.
Awesome did it first try and didn't mess up :) nice video thank you.
U don't suck. I just cant do it with the bill I have... Ur an artist
If I can throw it, and it goes forward, it’s flying
Might be tumbling like hell, but it’s flying to me!
@nonkeybomb222 A US bill is about 6.7 cm x 15.7 cm. Doesn't need to be exact.
Mine turned out fine. :) Thanks for the video.
amazing. Looks like T50
Bills have different thickness, depending on the denomination
got it on my first try AND looked good thanks so much man
aw man, this is awesome. thank you! can't wait to try this tomorrow! lol i watched like 7 mins of it, i couldn't stop watching..then i snapped out of it and decided it was a good enough video for me to fallow so i hope i actually go through with making one of these tomorrow. again. Thank you! :]
imagine he did not press record
@808HardCore I'm sorry you feel that way. If you let me know what you found hard to understand, maybe I can help clear things up.
Love these videos I was giving money to a teenage boy and did not want to just give money so I decided to make it more creative.............Thanks
@MrAverageJ0E The first one's always a little shaky. Keep folding!
Well I can't say my F-18 was as nice as yours but I am extremely satisfied with the way it turned out. :) Thanks for the tutorial!! (btw I also really love both tank designs!!!!) I am planning on doing a stop motion war with these. xD

Looks more like a Mig-29, still cool.
Well I need a dollar dollar, a dollar is what I need
hey hey
awesome! very clear tutorial. the only hard thing i did was make it with AA Missiles
YOU MAKE THIS SHIT MORE COMPLEX, DO THE SHIT AND LET US GET OVER IT!
I did it!!!! It looks exactly the same as the one in the video. Nice video mate, it took me long, and it aint easy.
Thanks so much for this tutorial! Our Tooth Fairy brings origami dollars, and my son finally lost a tooth. She had no problems following it, and appreciates your time :D
Your son is a she?!?!?!?
+jaron ferrara Lol...
No son lost a tooth fairy princess aka the mother 'SHE" made the airplane and her son appreciate it very much..! But that comment even though you already k were everything I just told you still cracked me up..Lol.

Wow! that escalated quickly..
I made 200 of these over the past 12 days......you can see a big difference from the first one to the last one.....I need a new hobby.
These are so cool
thanks allot i already made 3 of them the first two didn't come out as well as yours but the third one looked just like yours thanks
Thank you this video made it much easier!
Thx for the tutorial bro :)
19:50 This seems impossible! Though this guide so far is really helpful and perfect pace
If people want to see money fly just Chuck a roll of quarters across the room it's that simple
Really wish you would use a real dollar bill the entire time. I have to follow the bill itself and once you turned it over, confusion set it. Yes, I know it would be smaller but easier for some of us.
That's a sexy MiG-29 you have there...
Also thanks, the other tutorial was confusing and fast, but this one is good.
advanced origami, thanks, great videos
See now this is a "TUTORIAL" vid lol No confusion and points out all the parts I would have messed up.
ignore the haters. for anyone with a good amount of origami experience, this model is somewhat easy. thanks for the help!! =P
The dollar rings impress the ladies more. 8 )

i needed 1 hour to build my own
mine is like a futuristic plane xD anyway I love it. thanks for the tutorial
To say that my first attempt looks like shit would be an insult to shit.
@thebigbluevan, thanks for the concern, it was a VERY clear tutorial but when it came to the wing folding step at 20:00, I tried to watch several times but still couldn't figure it out. I'm not sure what you could to fix that though. Thanks :)
Well done!!!
That's awesome!! How did you learn to do that?
I think I was doing good all the way up the 18' mark and then it all went to hell on me. @thebigbluevan sorry about the earlier comments, i was kinda on a rage. Lol.
*Starts folding along with the video*.... *looks at video length* *Pauses*.......... *puts dollar aside and click on a new video*
nice explanations, but origami is hard as hell, i am crying myself out right now because i messed up....thanks i will try this again!
Thanks man...

But will it blend?
he tried to make it legal with all the laws, that explained the paper switching, and yea, it could have gone faster though
This is awesome - thank you for sharing :) I think all the little (and some big) boys in my life that get a cash gift will be getting one of these from now on. lol.
