Richard S yes you can. However once you recoat with waterborne finish over a oil based finish system you must not ever recoat with a oil based finish. In other words all subsequent recoating must be done with waterborne finish once you change from a oil based system.
Hi Richard - Yes, that's a very common practice on recoats - to use waterborne for the recoats over a floor that was originally completed with oil-based products; because of the fast dry/cure times (returning the floor to use faster), the much lower odor, and it will keep the floor from getting a lot yellower and darker (which will happen if you keep recoating with oil-modified).
