I am going to attempt dominoes soon and this was so helpful! In some of the other tutorials I've watched, they were using nail dotting tools to paint. Maybe that'll be helpful for you too. Super excited to give this a try!
The little suction tool is a pipette and I never considered using them until I saw this video. They would be perfect for filling small spaces with epoxy.
Awesome work I always love the hand craftsmanship of a custom dominos it is as valuable as it is official one, even though you gonna get just the basic generic official pieces... But the custom is what makes it more special to have and fun to make and collect for those who love Dominoes in the Hispanic Community in Latin Ameica and around the world as well
These came out cute!! Girl I feel you on the layering. I tried to do a Baltimore raven on a glass mug and that thing gave me the blues lol. Thank you for sharing!! 💜
Hey luv, if you haven’t already, sign up with Amazon business and put the links to the products you used in your descriptions. Get paid for sharing the knowledge with us
You did awesome with the dominos, what seems to work for me for layering is using the mat to hold the first layer still then using the taco method and adhering the layers that way then transferring once it’s completely layered
New Subbie here. Love the dominoes I was actually looking up how the images got inside of them. So this vid was perfect. Also I learned a tip about getting air bubbles out too, 99% alcohol spray a little over them and it gets them out.
What’s the curing time for the resin? Imma be honest with you, your struggle with that transfer paper validated meeee!!!!😆😆😆 but your bravery layering was impressive! Girl I would have torn that “E” and “R” to pieces. Very nice!
This is gorgeous. That clear case gave this domino set life! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and making this video so easy to understand! Love it!! You have a new subscriber!💖
Lovely project!! This may not be seen, but I had a couple of trial & error tips from using my maker also if you haven't already added these to your list: Use the intricate cut settings for those fine details. I was able to cut thin lines into vinyl for a wedding box. Sticker paper and expoy works well. The only thing is that my stickers looked like they were dipped in cooking oil under clear expoy. I didn't know making dominos were so straightforward. I'll have to try it!
Great job, I have a cricut maker and explore have never really had issues with vinyl letters of any size I usually don't use cricut blades I buy the 60 degree german carbide (I believe thats the name) off amazon and they work great. I also try to use one blade for just vinyl and a different one for paper etc. Also watch Mr. Crafty Pants he has a great tip for using parchment paper when layering vinyl.
Im just getting into this for myself and to make some extra money doing custom sets on the side. im wondering after 3 years are you still using paint for the dots or have you found another way to do them?
For layering, it's easier to contour out the interior cuts and have a large flat piece. The gold could've been solod and laid first, and then the black bold letters go over it. It's easier to line up!! I forgot who I heard this tip from but I was doing it the same way as you before and I hated it. It's MUCH easier the other way! They came out so good tho!!
I love your Domino's They are perfect. Where did you purchase your Box? It is a great size and I love that it's clear so you can see the Beautiful work inside
You mentioned you got the cases from dollar tree. I didn't see them. Can u share a link where I can do a store delivery? Also what are the dimensions. You did a GREAT job on ur dominoes. Fabulous job.

Great work and great tutorial. I’m going to start making dominoes and I have a couple question. When do you start using acrylic paint? How much do you sell the dominoes for you?
Great video. I am getting this mold. I saw the giants stickers on your website. It’s $10? I have a Cameo but don’t know how to do print and cut and as you said I can’t make them on my Joy. And can you also sell the boxes. They don’t have that at any dollar tree I have ever been to. I also need stickers for the Florida team. I know their colors are a crazy orange. Thanks for sharing. You did a fabulous job. Also can you do a resin ashtray video?
Thank you!!! Yes the stickers start at $10 a sheet. I wish i could help you with your cameo, I’m going to invest in one eventually. I don’t have the ashtray mold yet but I’m definitely getting more resin molds so be on the look out 🥰 Email me kandorcustoms@gmail.com so we can further discuss your order and the box.
These weren’t really jagged. But you can definitely sand them, the only thing is you would need to do a very light coat of resin to bring back the shine
Girl the dotting tool is heaven sent and ok cause I’m trying to do an all red dominoes set with the Haitian flag on the back and needed to know which would pop out more. Thank you
I think you did a wonderful job, believe I make these and they are some work. Beautiful! Where did you get the boxes for your dominoes ? Again great job.

Thank you! I don’t know why i always forget the names of things when i film lol & yes they really come in handy!
I can see a few bubbles near the dots.
Talcum powder dusted on mold helps
I print then cut on sticker paper. It doesn’t stretch and tear as easily! These are beautiful 😍

What is the taco method? What do you use it for? Never heard of that term before.
Love all the tips and how detailed you got with everything
Thank you for watching 🥰
When using the transfer tape, scrape both sides. I find scraping along the back side helps transfer your vinyl way better
Thanks for the pro tip!!
I love that color. I want to see you paint the dots. Can't see. They are pretty. Lisa😊

I didn’t see you sand paper your dominos… what keeps them from being sharp and cutting fingers? Thank you
Hi what’s the measurements for the sticker paper for to put on the dominoes
Where did you get you box at, very cute
Hello, What size sticker did you use?
Hey! What size were your Ravens logo decal? And when you do your final coat, do you use epoxy or resin?
Hey!! I make my decals 1.5 in width and .9 in length. Epoxy is a type of resin, unless you mean epoxy or uv resin but I use epoxy for the final coat.
If your Cricut is having problems cutting small it is time for a new blade. Also. Try using paint pins for the dominos
Thank you! I definitely need a new blade lol
I love your Domino's They are perfect. Where did you purchase your Box? It is a great size and I love that it's clear so you can see the Beautiful work inside
Thank you so much! The box is from dollar tree
Hi what font is that for the box ? is it the same font for the gold Ravens on the box? How did you slice the lining out if gold ?
Hello, for the ravens font I just uploaded the logo in design space then erased the inner space just leaving the gold outline.
How much of part A & Part B resin do you mix?
Wonderful video. As far as your Cricut maker, have you tried changing your blade out? That may help with the smaller cuts.
Thank you and I definitely need to change my blade out! But I just use my joy for smaller projects now
Please help! Just starting out. My dominos keep having holes on the inside and on the outter walls…
