Great information - you're 100% right. Buyers should rate the trucks based on what they want to use them for. It isn't always easy, but just like with any purchase a little research goes a long way.
@@minitrucksweird question. I am 6'5 but not propotional. Basically i have a 6ft guys legs and 6'10 everything else. So kind of long legs bu Tall from the seat the head and broad. What would you consider the best choices given that?
The best mini truck for me is the Daihatsu Hijet s110p and the Mitsubishi Minicab overall simplicity and easy to work on, for example i changed the timing belt and tensioner on my Hijet in 35 minutes easy. Thanks Tony for another gr8 video
Sorry I pulled in and got in the video Tony . I want to tell everyone that Mayberry mini truck is great and Tony gave me some great advice. Took a ride down to Mayberry mini today to look at the trucks man what a spectacular place. THANKS AGAIN
Tony when you sell the mini trucks do you provide website suggestions for standard parts that may not be available at a local parts stores? Also if you get a truck that has lots of surface rust have you considered using the Bed liner that is a brush on application rather than sprayed on to fix the paint/rust problem?
Hi Toney! Thanks for the thorough walk throughs! I’ve been looking hard at the Suzuki’s but I’ve always been a Mazda guy, just curious, is the Mazda/Autozam you showed just a rebadged Suzuki! The dash and headlight trim look exactly like a 1990 Suzuki. Thx!
@@minitrucks thanks Toney! One more question for you regarding 1996 Suzuki. Are all the round headlight trucks 4sp with a low range transfer case and all rectangular headlight models 5 Speed with extra low 1st gear? I really like the way the round lights look but think the 5pd would serve my needs better. The majority of my time in the truck will be two lone black top w/55 mph speed limits and occasional gravel roads with 1-2foot deep creek crossings
The issue I had on the Suburu Sambar I bought, and still drive was. Odometer was wrong. It said 34000 K. Yet the deregistration from Japan was 169000K . Are the trucks in your inventory authenticated milage with Japanese deregistration upon purchase?
Yes, our mini trucks are authenticated at the auction. If you buy one at the auction in Japan you know for sure if the seller does not provide evidence for the kilometers...
Do you know what percentage of these trucks get registered and titled for road use and what percentage are strictly non public road use only? Most of the videos I see on these trucks show them being used and operated on public roads.
I’m looking for a Sambar 4WD, standard transmission in great condition. I’d love to have a dump bed, but that’s not a deal breaker. We need a work truck for our property in north central Washington state, USA. The truck will be worked hard. I won’t abuse it, but I will work it. I know that I’ll have to have it shipped out to us. I’d like to have a rear locking differential. Can you please help me?
Hi Tony I enjoy your videos and have learned so much thank you I'm looking for 4 wheel drive dont want dump or ac is it hard to get 1 like that maybe a Sazuki or Daihatsu of Mitsubishi or honda must be 5 speed ps surface rust or small dents or dings doesn't bother me or a tare in the seat doesn't bother me I live in indiana thank you so much sir
I definitely know which video you're talking about that declared the subaru the best. It almost seemed like subaru was paying him to point out every Suzuki and Honda flaw while not pointing out any for subaru. Complaining about cabin space of a mini truck when you're 6'4" is ridiculous.
Do you have any non running Subaru sambar ks4 supercharged trucks, maybe a ja with dump bed or can you find one. I'm disabled and can't afford a running one. I would do anything you can think of for one. Yes I'm being very serious
Great question...not such a simple answer. It really depends on how the truck is cared for but on average you should get 100 to 120k miles...that said there is more to it than just that simple of an answer:)
It depends on what kind of shape it's in. That decides what we have to pay. Also, what did we have to do to it, etc. Somewhere around 7,800 to 10,800 depending on so many things. I know that's perhaps a non-answer but it's the most direct I can offer:) Thanks, Tony/MMT

I love the sound of when you close the doors on the trucks lol so crisp
Love the vids and the main reason I'd want a Sambar is the space since I'm 6'4". I need to make a trip soon so I can pick one out!!
Sounds good! The Mitsu has a lot of knee room for my really tall guys...the dash is more forward. Thanks,Tony/MMT

Where can i get a hat like that. I do landscaping and just destroy stray hats. That looks nice and durable..
Thanks
From indiana these are legal here. Would love to come out and get a sambar in my future. Love the collection.. do you have a website with prices etc?
Yes, we have a website., check us out! Thanks. mayberryminitrucks.com/product-category/all-trucks

Hi Michael, Yes the Mazda is a Suzuki with a Mazda sticker.

How long will it take you to churn through all that inventory? You have a ton of these kei trucks there.
please tell me more about synthetic oil you use??

Good morning, give me a ring later. I'll be going to Allentown so I'll have plenty of talk time:)
Hello, i am definitely curious about that white Subaru van.
Sounds good, give us a call and we can discuss.

Well said...that's a pretty straightforward observation:)
Why not do a before and after type of video just delivered vs ready to take home
That's a good idea, There are some suggestions that I need to sit down and plan out. Thanks for the feedback...
I need that van in my life lol
:)
Ha!
What’s an average life span of engines life ?

What’s an average price of those trucks ?

Are they legal in California?
Not to my knowledge...
Im asuming they check trucks for radiation lol after Fukushima tragedy
Yes, everything is scanned at the port in Japan. They used to charge for this service but it’s pretty much all inclusive now.
where are u at? TIA
We're in Mt. Airy, NC
It's February by the way. You said January and your caption says January too.
Just for accurate records 😊 don't mean to nitpicking
Thank you so much for pointing that out!
Recycled metal = rust, rust, rust unfortunately
