I just started playing Vertigo Remastered for the first time this weekend and I'm loving it. Can't wait to finish it and get my hands on Vertigo 2. These are the type of VR games I thought we would be getting on VR. Unfortunately, there are very few games like this and Alyx.

I feel in vr game recommendations are more important than on flat screen. I see 5 min of gameplay and can in most cases see if this game is for me or not. By vr games it absolutely doesn't work for me. I see it I feel absolutely underwhelmed but when I try it. awesome what a blast. Happened to me by Moss and also for after the fall. When I saw the footage , I was well a jump and run and a left4dead clone and now those are both beloved games. So I will give vertigo also a try😅

Would you recommend playing vertigo 1 before 2? and regardless of that answer, do you think the overall experience is better having played 1 or is it not that important?
The original vertigo is excellent and I highly recommend it. That said its not mandatory to play vertigo 2. There's a few references to events in the original game but its not that story heavy to confuse you
Been waiting SO long for Vertigo 2! I was a massive fan of the first one and the soundtrack. Very excited that it's finally here.....only thing that I'm creeped out by so far is a sequence that I saw during development where you somehow go to this huge room that is entirely pitch black that has these red floating symbols and possibly monsters and it looks like it will be very scary in VR.....I get the feeling you have to keep going to this place throughout the game...not looking forward to that part. Matteo...is this true?

I'm stuck in two games on my Quest 2 because of the linear progression of each game - one is Wraith Oblivion because I'm truly terrified of one of the ghosts & can't progress past it , the other is LIES BENEATH where I'm fighting a horde in the 2nd wooden cabin which are so overwhelming I die within minutes . I JUST CAN'T get past these two personal choke points . Viewers poll : How many games have you ACTUALLY COMPLETED (from Start to Finish - any difficulty) compared to how many YOU CAN'T COMPLETE on your QUEST 1 & 2 ?

I just found this game today. I can't believe I've been sleeping on it. It's one of the best VR games I've played so far! How does Vertigo Remastered compare? Is it worth getting?
until Sony drops about 30 exclusive titles, and includes apps like Skybox or Bigscreen, Quest/PCVR will remain in top imo...and this is coming from someone who wants to see Sony thrive in the vr space big time

I have a psvr2 and love it but I never owned a vr headset before. The resident evil games make it worth it for me although im sure im missing out on a lot of amazing games.
Thats why I'm waiting for Deckard. This developer worked for valve and they know vr better than anyone..I don't care what anyone says..from hardware to game development..valve is top tier
Thx for the Video. I tried the demo of the second part and didn't like it at all. When I started the first part, I immediately fell in love with the game. It's a pity that the first two levels of the demo are not so good and reflect how great the gameplay and story actually is.
Take my money! thanks for the preview. didn't think I could get more hyped about this game but i was wrong. My biggest concern was playtime and the 8 - 12 hour time to complete is exactly what I was hoping for.
It's a challenging game so I can see it taking even longer for some people but there are also areas where you can technically speed run it so I left a long range.
Saw it today, purchased and played for an hour. This game is a gem already loving it. The soundtrack is bangin. Oh, and as someone who gets motion sickness (I have my VR legs but still get it), it's been fine for me.

Honestly, the score seems a bit silly when you consider games like HL Alyx exist. This game is: 1 Ugly as sin, it looks at lest 15 years behind the modern standards 2 Extremely thin on plot and narrative 3 Has awful, dated level design, this is what made me dislike it, im all for a bit of lower standards, but this is straight from 1998 modding scene level design full of impossible geometry, nonsense rooms that lead nowhere and clip into each other and maps that dont make any logical or visual sense 4 Simplistic gameplay If this is 9/10, then what is Alyx? 10/10? But Alyx isnt that great ether, almost no plot, it falls apart in second half and the reuse of enemies, scenarios and general lack of purpose make that game meh too. Dunno why so many VR creators have this tendency to overhype and overpraise VR games, there is only a handfull of good ones, all those mediocre experience are bouncing people off VR.
A lot people mentioning Vertigo 2 having psuedo Rick And Morty style voice acting pretty much guarantees I will never play this. Not a bonus or the selling point a lot of reviewers seem to think it is.

This is a common vr issue. It's really hard to capture how it feels from a flat viewpoint
Vertigo was an overlooked gem. Cant wait to play this. It sounds like the voice acting is better in this one too.
