    • @BFSFISHINGCHANNEL
      @BFSFISHINGCHANNEL Год назад +1

      @@rawrfishing I think a great multipurpose rod. A bit faster action than a cu double but it still can actually cast down to 1g which is impressive considering that it’s a F action rod. My guess is the tip is hollow but sensitivity feels good. Value could be a tad better but I’m really happy with the rod!

    • @rawrfishing
      @rawrfishing  Год назад +1

      if you think about it, the Aji style rod, dragon, goes down to 0.6 g and it is XF tip on an UL rod lol. but these fast tip dragons got a moderate fast bend, so it flexes well and load up for the casts. Very impressive and i think everyone should try the dragon or dragon 2 for their trout fishing! I believe these are all hollow as well.

    • @BFSFISHINGCHANNEL
      @BFSFISHINGCHANNEL Год назад +1

      @@rawrfishing yea I’ve been really happy with the pick up and the description def matches. I think this is a bit stiffer than the elf trout Aji style rod I had previously but the tip really does load up like you said and then the rod does have that MF bend after the tip gets loaded. I quite enjoy this and have been looking for something a bit faster action compared to the double but can still cast down to 1g. Build quality is top notch as well. Tsurinoya always knows how to make a good rod imho.

It's a 3 piece has a beautiful bend thats delicate yet strong and I can definitely feel the bites with it. Plus it's beautiful with the wood reel seat. Jdm tackle heaven has em

    Sup jimmy, this is a bfs rod I've been looking at, I'm not big on names and technology lol, my big concern is can I put a small spinning reel on it? I have to face the medical facts, sometimes can't even use a baitcaster, and only can fish at club pond or friends pontoon boat, sometimes I want crappie and when find them I love it, my ultralight rod got broken in door by mistake lol. Think this is good for a small spinning reel? Cought some nice fish, handled the bass great.. tyvm tc 🎣

      Hey man. U cant use this rod for spinning. But they make spinning version. I have discussed with Bait Finesse Empire and we hope to bring in a limited spinning rods during spring. Hopefully when they restock, we may have some in for ya. Else, you could always order from Aliexpress. Just takes a while and if it breaks during shipping... U might miss some fishing action as u address the issues with Aliexpress. You would love this rod blank... Regardless of fishing style! Cheers mate

      Depends on the lure and presentation and water depth. I use this UL rod for more specific fishing such as sub 2 gram lures and slower falling lures (hair jigs) where I want to detect strikes since I want to fish via slack line and do yoyoing of lures. The L 7ft rod Is for 2.5 grams and up. I would use this for things where I would retrieve

    Tsurinoya Dragon C602UL IS NOT an ultra light! I had a load test test done to determine speed of this casting rod. It actually fits in the Light category. The C662L is slower (softer bend) than the C602UL. I contacted Tsurinoya and provided results. They say they're within limits. Crap! Quit recommending!

      I would like it hear more details. Care to share?

    • @WeBeCrusing
      @WeBeCrusing Год назад +2

      That doesn't make sense. You talked about power of a rod, but you measured action of the rod tip. They are two different things. Plenty of UL rod that are stiff and plenty in the middle and plenty like a noodle... Speed or action of the rod is not the same as Power as that is how much weight/load a rod can handle for casting and battling fish.

    • @rawrfishing
      @rawrfishing  Год назад

      I believe you are right, the two are independent of each other, but he mixed the two together. The UL may feel a bit faster tip than the L, but given it's an UL, it will bend just as good as the more moderate L. I am curious of the test as this UL rod can cast down to 1/32nd Oz Jig bare.

    • @charlievthetuna

      @@rawrfishing I would stick with the proven Ace Hawk CU Double. The Dragon C602UL now pulled from AE. Tsurinoya Store advertised;
      Model: C602UL, Weight: 89g (actual 98.3g) , Power: UL 1g-8g, Action: MF (actually fast)
      Model: C662L, Weight: 107g (actual 101.7g), Power: L 2g-8g, Action: MF (closer to description)

    • @rawrfishing
      @rawrfishing  Год назад

      So you are determining a power of a rod by its physical weight?
      I don't agree with this method. You have proven nothing here as you are confused between action and power of the rod.
      You have been constantly talking about the flex of the rod (speed/action), which does not relate to the power of the rod!
      The rod might be faster than it was advertised, but it's certainly an UL powered rod.
