NORWEGIAN BLISS Vlog #6: St. Thomas, Paradise Point, a Pirate and a Bushwhacker

- Join Derick and Greggory as we sail on the beautiful Norwegian Bliss.
This is our first ever visit to Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas US Virgin Islands. We take the SkyRide to Paradise Point and try the famous Bushwhacker and Rum Punch drinks. We also visit the Pirates Treasure Museum and have a fun meet and greet with a Pirate. This was from our December 2018 Norwegian Bliss Cruise. Come join the fun.

Lol Sandra, it was a very strong drink, it reminded me a lot of a bailey's shake, not sure if its supposed to be blended originally, but i enjoyed it.

Haha, Jack Sparrow stopped by the Rum Hut when I was in St. Thomas in February. He's spot on for Depp as far as I'm concerned.

Thanks Steve, that's a great question. To compare the ships wouldn't be fair, since the Bliss was only 6 months old when we sailed on her, while the last Disney ship we went on March of last year was 20 years old. Ships have changed so much in 20 years. The Disney service is impeccable and we still prefer Disney over non-Disney. But later this year we sail on another Norwegian cruise and the Disney 5 weeks later, so after 2 rounds we will have a better idea.

I now travel with someone who is wheelchair bound so need to find accessible friendly things to do. Not many videos out there tho. Thanks in advance for your insight
Hi, Thank you for watching, I was looking up a website and it said that St. Thomas complies with wheelchair accessibility as it's part of the US Virgin islands. Our friends Kevin and Frank have a youtube channel with great travel information with that need wheelchair accessibility. I'll provide a link that was from 2017 when they cruised on the NCL GEM. How much time do I need to go up and down. We are going to be there soon and planning to go there but also we would like to go to the beach. And be back on cruise on time 😀 TIA
Thank you for watching!! We were there for maybe an hour, there are some small shops that we went through and bought things, plus getting the drinks. The Ride up was between 5-10 minutes, I would think you would have enough time to do both Paradise Point and a beach.
Can you walk from where the boat docks to the goldolas? I thought it was miles away.
Hi, thanks for watching. For NCL you definitely can walk to the gondolas. Also princess and carnival. Royal would be the harder one to walk from.
I looked up the port, Havensight is the port we docked at. It’s only a 5-10 minute walk
