I think the best part was their reaction to the Creepy Wonka face.
the original boat scene was completely improvised, when the people freaked out, they weren't acting they weren't told about that part, most of the stuff in the gene wilder movie was improvised

The tunnel couldn’t have been improvised, as the poem was in the original book
The scene where the kids are shown the inside of the factory, with chocolate river was never shown to them until they started filming. The kids reactions are genuine.
When the actor for Charlie goes in at the end to get the chocolate, he was not informed that Gene Wilder would be shouting angrily, and the actor to his credit, was able to do his part on the first take, despite that.
The Young Cosmonaut I think what he meant was, the actors(with the exception of Gene Wilder) were not informed of what exactly was going to happen in the tunnel scene, so they went in not expecting the footage, weird lighting and Gene singing that poem from the book.
The scene of him coming out slowly and tripping only to roll and jump up when we first met him was Wilder's idea. He wanted this so nobody knew what to expect from him.

They really missed an opportunity here. If you're going to combine Tom and Jerry with a Roald Dahl property, why not use The Witches. Kids being turned into mice? Imagine the possibilities! Jerry could be confused with one of the children. Hijinks ensue.
Apparently the kid mouse oompa loompa is voice by the lady that did Phil and Lil from Rugrats, and little Muriel from that one episode of Courage. Why is her voice so distinctive?

Well I haven't seen Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (seen the Tim Burton version though pls don't kill me) so I don't have any nostalgia for it but I do have a lot of nostalgia for Tom and Jerry. I used to camp out on Cartoon Network waiting for them to air those old shorts (as such I watched other shows as well even tho I understood nothing because I didn't understand english) and I also loved Tom and Jerry: Kids that later on aired on slovak chanels during weekend mornings. When I've learned about this I was like: WTF was the thought process behind this? What did this duo do to be relegated to direct to DVD shit? Some of the old shorts won Academy Awards. Whyyyyyyyyy?!
I think that I've gone of the rails a bit there. Oh well... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Can somebody explain to me why using the Word "Hell" in this movie is surprising to anybody?! The original show had actual depiction of Hell. The animated images of hell were IN THE SHOW so why saying "hell" is a surprise in any way? ??

Too soon.
To this day, what angers me the most about this film is that, honestly, well, aside from them using the less accurate film adaptation as their inspiration, if you read the original Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, you can tell this book should have been given the animation treatment ages ago. It's written like a cartoon script. So the fact that they needed to insert Tom and Jerry into it to justify that honestly gets to me more than anything else.
