Hey all! We've just added timestamps to the video so it's easier to navigate the interview and watch/listen to the parts that interest you. You can check 'em out in the description!
Honestly hearing Kevin Sisk in his natural voice is actually interesting, he sounds like Black Mesa's Barney but more laid back and chill. EDIT: Also cool seeing Validator in this! I've visited his streams often, pretty cool person and I swear is good at animating most of the time, or all, I don't really know.
It will definitely be really cool to see the new chapter when it comes out. I really like how the Vortigaunts broke down the door with their powers. That was definitely a cool touch. It will be really cool to see them remake the Blue Shift Xen sections. I think it would be really cool if they were to make the tunnels look like the inside of an Antlion nest that was cleared out recently. It would be some really cool environmental story telling. For the devs if you’re reading this here’s a cool idea for a weapon that would stand out from everything else in the sandbox (highly doubt that anyone would use this idea, but I’m still putting it out there): for the gun it would be an experimental electricity weapon that uses the suit chargers/batteries as it’s full source. The thing would shoot out electricity that chains nearby targets together, stun locks them, and does a fair amount of damage. It functions like the Covenant weapons from Halo where you never reload them, but they’ll overheat from extended use. That way it wouldn’t be super overpowered. Plus, it would also just eat through it’s battery similar to what the Gluon Gun does with ammo.
Good to see you again! glad you were mentioned in this video, hope it was fun and good working with the Black Mesa Blue Shift team! you did a very good job on the animations by the way, I found it a little bit of a dark kind of funny when the scientist got scared into a pool of radioactive waste.
LIL -PIF is one of my favorite animators due to his work fantastic work on BMAS, But the work Validator has put in is unbelievable in that he has a whole rig to do the motion capture. One thing I really like about this Mod is the fact they got Kevin Sisk to voice the guards which is impressive and gives it more immersion. The Music to the mod as well is great since Daver is working on it. He made a great sound track on Black Mesa Azure Sheep and so far its amazing on Blue Shift. I hope HECU Collective keeps up the great work and I look forward to seeing more.

@27:08 First time I listened to CYVO's comment, I thought he said "prop_rectum". Then I saw everybody laughing... It's "prop_ragdoll" of course.
Wow, I don't even have words to say how it's cool ;)
"i like trains" :D
Nice man
Kevin Sisk sounds similar to Michael Shapiro.
Blackmesa: Opposing Force please!
WTF is black mesa: blue shift? What happened to Tripmine's Guard Duty??
2 different remakes of the same expansion pack on different versions of Source.
@@forgotmyname1242 i would simply combine the two efforts
