      tell me, who also has anxious attachment in their OCD relationship? It only enhances OCD .. who had such that we are with a girl at a distance so far .. And the girl may be busy .. And you have thoughts: what if, because of the fact that we will communicate less often, I will stop loving her / feelings will cool down / lose interest? What if because of this I do not stop loving? What if I have already stopped loving her?

    Hi! Sorry for my English I'm French. I'm coming back to your channel because I discovered it when I needed reassurance one year ago. So when I started to feel better I stoped to watch your videos bc I didn't need to watch them anymore. It's always feels good to hear someone talks about rocd (specially bc I'm French and in France rocd don't exist at all, nobody talks about it ). After a year of rocd I've learn a lot a thing about me and psychology but I'm still struggling every single day with it. Of course the hardest part is the acceptance and that even after one year with rocd I'm still wondering "is that rocd?" "and if it's not rocd?". It's even more hard when it's your first relationship..
    I literally admire your journey! ☺️

Now I'm trying to fight against the heavy anxiety from going out with her. So I think I have rocd but I’m not sure, I honestly hope I do because I can’t take this anymore anymore, I’m with my boyfriend a month today, we say we live eachother and I’m 100% sure I do and I’ve told him that I do, I really feel I do, and I was fine until two days ago when I suddenly asked myself “do I really love him?” And my sister asked me “do u really love him or do u love the attention he gives u?” And honestly both, cause u need attention in a relationship, I’ve had past relationships that have been bad and I don’t feel loved except from him, anyway, I know I love him, but recently it’s been harder to say it back to him even tho I have the urge to say it, I feel like if I do I’m not saying it with 100% meaning, and I feel horrible for it, I have horrible thoughts labour other guys, I think “what would happen if this guy kissed me right now” or “that guy is cute he might be better in bed than mine” and I also feel butterflies/ small crushes around random guys, Even guys I don’t know, some I work with, I know I really love my boyfriend and wanna live my life forever with him, But my mind says “do I really?” “Is he the one for me?” “Am I really attracted to him?” But I am.. I hate this so much 😭 Keeps getting worse, I have been thinking about this and only this all day, I just thought, I want him to be here right now( he lives an hour away) but I’m a little afraid and nervous, how will I react with him now, because I didn’t have these “do I love him” thoughts before, and now I do, I feel like I need to avoid him, but I don’t want to? Why does it feel like I don’t love him or want to be with him anymore, but I do?, I was just with him yesterday, smilling, kissing, happy, Thinking about calling him love gets me anxious and I feel like, weird, Or also I just got a thought of, what if I just live him as a friend? One of the worst is that It feels like he’s just a friend, while yesterday I was fine thinking him as a bf, I used to get very jealous when he talked about girls.. but not now.. PLEASE HELP B4 I do something bad please

    Not every relationship is right. Sometimes it’s really for the best if two people go their separate ways even if there is no abuse: eg. growing apart/different life paths. How do you know when to break up because it’s simply not right, and when it’s ROCD? Still don’t know how to distinguish, struggling with this... any tips from the comments?🌸

      @Lekadinkadink 4 года назад +11

      I'd look at compulsions to better understand rocd. If you are engaging in compulsions, under the label rocd or not, you can work on that and perhaps gain more clarity. Try looking up Mark Freeman's "anatomy of a compulsion"... It really helped me break down all the coping and checking and reassurance seeking I was doing (a lot of which wasn't even clearly related to my relationship uncertainties). Just know - There is no certainty or "right" answer to find... That is the trap that will keep trying to pull you back in. It is about choosing, day by day, moment by moment to cultivate a partnership, or not.
