  • Realistic virtual flyover of fishing holes and locations on the Vedder/Chilliwack River. The most popular recreational river in SW British Columbia.
The fishing locations shown may be commonly known but are by no means the only places to fish on this river.
IMPORTANT NOTE! The Vedder/Chilliwack River is located within an hours drive of a major urban centre of 3 million people. When there are runs of salmon and steelhead, the river can get quite busy at times, even during the week. Expect some pools and runs to get extremely crowded depending on the availability of fish and day of the week. Parking can be a challenge.
Every one of these locations in the series has already been extensively published online, and in print for decades prior to releasing this video. We're just showing what's already out there in a method that hasn't been done before.

DISCLAIMER: The Google Earth map that this video is based on was from satellite imagery taken in August of 2022, and is the current base map as of February 2023. Due to yearly and seasonal changes in the location of river channels, some of the various runs and pools shown in this video may have moved or have completely disappeared. New locations and names may appear in place of old ones where this has occurred. The Google Maps base view shown may not keep up to the actual state of the river and its channels. Water levels in this river fluctuate greatly due to current weather conditions. Access to some locations may also be challenging or blocked in some areas due to natural or man made hazards. Caution is advised when travelling to these areas.

Just had a look. Judging by the width of the river I’m guessing it’s in the upper section, maybe Allison Pool area.
