- Here is the new Abarth 595 Scorpioneoro. This new 2020 Abarth pays homage to the heritage abarth A112 Targa Oro. The new Abarth 595 Scorpioneoro runs 165bhp, 0-62mph in 7.3 seconds costs £22k OTR and comes as a limited edition 1 of 2000 cars globally. The new 2020 Abarth 595 scorpioneoro does look cool and i like the gold and black theme. I do wish it came with a better exhaust though. @@paulredhead8603 it's a tough one..so easy to look at older motors with rose tinted specs but I tend to agree with you although refinement levels nowadays are taken for granted...I've owned 40+ cars ranging from old school mini,golf gti mk 1 and 2,triumph dolly 1850,Capri mk3,xr2,xr4i,,too many rs Ford's to mention,marina,fiat 127,uno,manta gte and the list goes on and on..granted some of they cars were rubbish but a lot were very well set up from the factory(handling wise)..this is where the abarth comes into play..mine's a 13 plate in immac condition and low miles ..a fair few mods roughly 180bhp now,lowered etc...it's a car you honestly get so attached too they are no joke when you up the boost, on 'b' roads they are in their element and will embarrass cars way more powerful and expensive.neautral handling you can throw them about with confidence.. they do have their little niggles but mines been as reliable (If not more)than any car I've owned...to put it into perspective I traded my 300+bhp mk2 focus st for abarth and can hand on heart say I am not one bit disappointed...

So 8k over a discounted base model gets you gold wheels, 20 hp more, and some stickers. You couldn’t make this stuff up.
you cant compare a discounted model with RRP i am sure when they struggle to sell the 2000 units (suffering from lotus brain here, if every model is a limited edition surely none of them are) they will offer discounts. this is basically a specced out turismo which RRP £20,500 as it has OZ racing wheels, bigger infotainment screen, beats stereo and upgraded seats. For an extra £2k not bad. How they have the gall to charge £30k for some of these cars when its based on a car that cost as little as £8000 back in 2007, i dont know but they are different and fun cars to drive.
I think your video gives it its true prospective, it’s made it look better than just pictures ive seen online, although I do think the price is steep for what you get, why haven’t they removed the ‘500’ from the dash now that they’re all 595 models?!?!?! And the numbered plaque thing is a bit of a cop out. Why don’t they stamp them with their own serial number instead of just claiming ‘one of 2000’ why not have like ‘258 of 2000’?
really cool how many editions and support there is for the brand over there. It's actually getting to a point in the US where the existing cars are starting to go up in value since they've been discontinued
Really? I’m glad I got one 3 months ago, not that I plan to sell it any time soon. It’s sad to see it go but it’s surprising we got the car at all. Too weird to live, too rare to die.

This looks much nicer than the Yamaha Monster Edition. Black & Gold is always good. Shame about no Monza as you said but it can be added .
Akrapovic or Record Monza exhaust should be the first upgrade to do on this particular model... I can't understand the marketing behind this choice. The Yamaha Monster edition... well, I don't really like it at all, I don't think it will be a great commercial success but I maybe wrong. We'll see in the next future !

Have Abarth increased their prices across the board? My wife paid £23k for her Rivale, which has 180HP, Brembo brakes, Koni shocks, Akropovic exhaust, full leather. Which is a lot for an extra £1000. She went for the real wood option (+£650), but as standard it came full a carbon fibre dash. I don't get the pricing, I really, really like this car, but don't think the price can be justified.

I was hoping you’d do a review on the Scorpioneoro, It’s so retro-cool, and I agree looks like this one could’ve done a more meaty exhaust like say the Biposto or Rivale? Plus maybe 185 hp instead of 165 hp, as you mentioned though it would push the price up. I hope you get the opportunity to drive one to compare differences (if any) with the other models out there right now👍🏾.

I miss driving my Abarth. 😔 Ended up with a burnt exhaust valve this past summer and the dealership said it needs a new motor. Roughly $8k. 😭
another great review but i’m going to have to agree it needs brembo brakes and a decent exhaust and sebelt seats for me

Hi Stef,would you know weather this is available with the mta gearbox.Abarth uk site says you can order it with one as its optional. But my local dealer says its not.very confusing. Thanks Ash.

You get her in the car, she reads 500 on the dash and she says "500s are sweet". You have to explain that FIAT can't be bothered to make a 595 dash moulding becaue they are screwing the buyer for every little bit of profit.

Why so expensive? I paid £16.500 for my trofeo brand new with adrenaline green paint as an extra.
Prefer the seats compared to the monster but shame no pinstripe on the dash or gold interior accents on the dash.

Can somebody explain me why abarth just make small engines? 1.4 why isnt possible to put a 2 with more horsepower ..?
abarth doesnt make any engines at all. this is just the same outdated 500 they are selling for years

Not another boring special edition. Same power, same styling, come on Abarth, give us more power, rear wheel drive and more upmarket inside styling. The car is flawed.

Curious with this video. Your pronunciation of model versions is very Italian/European. However, your pronunciation of Abarth is very anglo with a hard A at the beginning. It was very off-putting
