Welcome to OOR rabit hole. They are an amazing band. Wen that concert happened they were in their layer 20s they currently in their mid 30s. They tour all over the world. They have 10 Lp under their belt. And working on their 11th. I believe it will be called premonitions. This is a band better enjoyed live. The studio recording of this song is a bit more upbeat and has a collaboration of 5 seconds of summer. They do collaborate with a lot of band Like sleeping with sirens, against the current, Alex gaskarth from All time low, Avril laving, Ed sheeran teddy swims and a few more. They are big linkin Park fans and good friends. Their music fall under all styles of rock. They are probably the most humble band I've ever seen live. They are anthem makers and their lyrics are always motivational. Check more music from them please.

Tokyo Dome was sold out (55K) and the fans waited patiently, silently, and respectfully for their chance to support Taka singing this song!

No, they were in their early 30s. Taka for instance was 30 years old.
To my understanding this live performance happened right after Chester Bennington (Linkin Park frontman) left this world. Taka (The singer) had a lot of respect for Chester and the 2 bands even worked together. According to Taka himself, Chester was the entire reason he became a rock vocalist.
The 30 seconds of silence was for Chester and you can just hear the pain in Taka's voice as he sings.

16:05 oh boy, "we made it" was the mood for real. Back when this concert happened Taka (the vocalist) was feeling sick and kept throwing up. The show was delayed for a couple hours and almost got cancelled altogether. But Taka (with sheer fucking will probably, idek 😭) didn't want to disappoint the fans, so once he felt better, he got up on that stage anyways. Someone that actually went to the concert said that in the long pause, it's like a pin drop silence in the stadium and that they wouldn't even dare to breathe. And then afterwards they sing so hard it's basically like a prayer, that Taka didn't overwork himself and his health held up for now. It's really a "we made it, he sang for us" feeling 😭😭

They dedicated the 30s pause for Chester Bennington. Toru the guitarist, started the band and kinda stalked Taka, lead singer for months to join..
They are amazing live.
The first time i heard this song about a year or so ago, I had no idea that I had missed something this good. That was brilliant.

Although the band never explained the story behind this song, and the vocalist (Taka) is always the song writer... the most publicly known instance of heartbreak that Taka has experienced was the divorce of his (popular singer) parents. But again, it could be just about his personal heartbreak with an ex.
The song that Taka admitted he wrote about his parent's divorce is "Nobody's Home". At one point, Taka and his brother (Hiro, who's a singer in a popular rock band as well) sang the song together in a concert. But when Taka repaired his relationship with his dad, he wrote the song "Hard to Love", as an apology to his dad, and an acceptance about his dad's choices in life.
There are many great musicians in Japan.
